The owners are Hmong and the food was very good!!Go support our local Hmong people. It definitely is a little hole in the wall but it's not gonna disappoint!I was expecting less because you know I didn't know what to expect bc there wasn't alot of pictures and reviews. But coming from MN, I gotta say the food was pretty good. The Pho wasn't salty it had the perfect balance of salt and the beef broth was definitely there not watered down or anything. The Yum Woon Sen was good and perfectly salted, with a refreshing taste. I wish it was a tad bit more sour but then again I love sour food so my taste of sour is probably too much for yall. The fried shrimp wrapped bacon and the deep fried calamari and shrimp was super yummy. No fishy smell to it.

Not a fancy place but the food was delicious and very good portions. I had panang chicken and my wife had seafood soup Lg portion. We also had a pot of tea, spring rolls, and sticky rice. We finished it all. The entire meal for both was 40.76 Don't expect a fancy place, just good food and friendly staff.

Interesting Lao Asian Market/Cafe. Doesn't look like much from the outside. Even the door to enter looks like a back door service entrance. But don't let that stop you from going inside to discover another world of food, sauces, spices and so much more. Their cafe serves authentic Lao food. My favorite are the Papaya Salad (the spicy version is really spiced) and the Lao sausages. Haven't tried everything but working my way there. Cannot find anything this authentic between the Bay Area and Portland.

Great staff. Some food is good. Some food is great. This place serves Thai, Vietnamese, Laotian, and Hmong food so you can't be the best at all of them. The sesame balls and fried pork are great. The pho and papaya salad are good.

Best Hmong/Laos food I've found in Redding! I've been searching for good Hmong and Laos in Redding for 2 years so glad I've finally found it. Definitely recommend!!!

I can say without a doubt. This is the real deal Thai. The only gripe I have is the service. It took me 30 minutes to get my check and to go boxes. But let me tell you about the Tom Yum. If you like Tom yum. This is it. Make sure to ask for extra seafood. Also I go the pork spring rolls and pad Thai. It was so flavorful and fresh and super spicy. I asked for Thai spicy and they delivered. The market is cool. The experience was a little confusing but probably just a learning curve. Can’t wait to go back and try new things!

Amazing don’t let that it is in a market fool you, they serve nice service as well as servings. Other places act as if we are in Hollywood, the food is amazing as well. A must I’m a foodie and hands down these guys are the best

Kanya Market is a tiny Asian grocery in town that also houses a tiny restaurant serving authentic Hmong food. The Hmong tendon soup was delicious, full of flavor, and reminded me of ones I had made by my Hmong friend's mom! The broth was so flavorful and full of Thai baby eggplants, silky bamboo shoots, galangal, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaf, fresh rau ram, etc. and the tendon and tripe were just right, not over cooked nor undercooked! It's served with a side of rice which is just right for some carb comfort on a cold winter night. The market has some of the freshest Asian veggies in town, it's a bit pricy compared to other major cities but I get it because they have to transport all the goods from so far. Definitely try the Hmong tendon soup, it was amazing! I loved it so much I brought what I couldn't finish home even though it was only like 2/3rds of a cup lol. Ask for Pa, she was super sweet and gave me a baggie for my leftover rice!

Five-star Asian market. I did not eat there. Could not believe how many types of fish sauce there are! They also had huge containers of oyster sauce. If you cook Asian food in Shasta County, this is the place for you.

They run out of things very quickly

Pretty much everything staple I need plus really crisp spring rolls and their cooked food is the reason I come here over the other places that are closer to me....and the prices. Oyster sauce is so much cheaper here. Fresh king Oyster Mushrooms, banana leaves, etc, very good prices.
