My wife's steak and potato was decent, but my meal was awful. I'll likely not visit lumberjacks again. The wait staff was excellent, they deserve a better workplace.

It's a high quality diner. I love the country fried steak. The service is always friendly as well.

We were there for lunch on 7-14-25. There were not many people in the Restaurant. As we were seated I noticed a table of six men waiting for their order. It looked like they had been there for a while. The waitress when bringing their food she apologized for being so late. We must have been there for about 20 minutes before our food came. We ordered hamburgers. My granddaughter's hamburger was cremated. She had ordered it medium, and I ordered my hamburger well medium. They were dry and the bread was flatten. The waitress asked how everything was, I told her it was not so good. Then another waitress talk to us about what was the problem. I told her what the problem was. Then she went to talk with the cook. She came back and told me, well you ordered yours well medium well done. The hamburger was so dry . It was disgusting. They need a new Cook. You can cook a hamburger well done without turning out like sawdust! It was obvious the person who was on grill did not know how to cook .

They are very attentive to the customers. Large portions of food and the food taste great .Our friend lives in the area and brought us there for breakfast. So much to choose from but everything we ordered was great

I live in San Jose and visit my Grandfather and Dad while in Redding this is our go to Breakfast spot, the atmosphere is amazing, wait staff polite, and food is delicious. If you've never been I would highly recommend it!

Parking: The parking is a bit compacted. You have to kind of squeeze your way in with your vehicle some vehicles take up two parking spots. Then, after parking you have to squeeze your way out and back into the vehicle. The owner has a really strict policy about the waitresses wearing make up, even if they’re pretty naturally and he threatens them with no respect. I heard him say to one girl she needs to put on make up to work there or she will be fired. Hearing that made me not want to go back there

Just a very average place. Service was on the slow side. My French toast was over cooked on 1 side. It made it difficult to cut through it. I was not warned that they were going to charge me an extra $2.00 for eggs whites only. Other places like Dennys won't charge extra to separate an egg. We were told to expect large portions. NOT !!!!!! The prices are higher than Dennys and the portions are the same. Not impressed at all!!!!
The food was amazing. Huge portions. Friendly and attentive staff. Head cook was amazing, wonderful personality and communicated well with all the staff. This is my second time to a Lumberjack restaurant and this has become my favorite location.

I found the radio to be a bit loud, which is sort of obnoxious when there are commercials. That was my only issue, so I just put earbuds in.
The service was great, I love the aesthetic and the food is pretty good.
