We stayed slightly north of town, and our lovely host suggested Lumberjack's. Great call, the prime rib was PERFECT, and I also ordered the loaded twice-baked potato, a lot of food, however, it all arrived at the perfect temp, and it all disappeared! \nMy wife had the pasta, which she thought was great. My wife and I can in for breakfast this morning. The food was tasty and hot and the portion of food served was enough to send me away nice and full. I personally want to thank to owner. While we were there another customer experienced a medical emergency. I’m a retired firefighter so I provided first aid and the owner comped our meal because I help the young woman. While it was not necessary nor was it expected, I appreciated his kindness. We will be back again. Thank you.
Lumberjacks is one of my favorite local restaurants to go to. They always have the best food, no matter what I get, and their seasonal dishes are always creative and excellent. I love the decoration and architecture of the building, as well, and they often have lumberjack contests on the TVs, which I find quite entertaining. And I have always received great service, with friendly smiles and considerate staff.
