I don’t ever 1 star people, but I feel the need to be honest. We could not have had a worse lunch experience when stopping in town. Mod Pizza next door was busy so we chose to try this place. We were told 15 minutes but it took over an hour for our food to be ready. I understand being short staffed, but at least they could have given a realistic time frame. Not good form, especially when you have a hungry toddler as a customer.I ordered the veggie bowl, and that’s exactly what it was. A small helping of veggies, no vegetarian protein and a scant cup of rice. I was already starving because of the wait time, and then I left hungry because it was not enough food. I would have walked out, but they take your money when you order.There were 3 other plates ordered for our party and they all came out at separate times. People that ordered after us were served before us… I just honestly can’t think of anything nice to say except that my sister’s pesto chicken sandwich looked like it was good.To the management, please please please fix the issue of short staffing during weekend lunchtime. If I were the manager, I would be down there supporting my crew during the busiest time of day.To everyone else, do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place if you are pressed for time.

I love this spot! I have probably eaten here a dozen times in the last 6 months. Food is way better than it has any right to be, service is great, and a great selection of beers on tap. Minimax has definitely been added in my rotation of great Redding Restaurants. Check it out!

Needed a pre race pizza fix. Loads of places in Redding. This joint got overall good reviews. However a local business we stopped into also recommended them. So it's an unassuming place. Small bar. Lots of beers on tap and rotating. Big menu sandwiches, wings, pizzas and unique pizza offerings. Big decision. 6 long bar top tables that can sit 6-8-10 people easy. The bartender (nice guy dark hair) gave us input on pizzas and we place orders. 2 medium pizzas. Combo and a Pepperoni. Came piping hot. Nicely prepared with plenty of the ingredients. Sides of ranch, red pepper flakes and parm cheese. We did soda fountain since we were racing but next time beer me! Good pizza. Good value.
