I've been coming here for years and it's always been one of my top 3 favorite places to eat in redding, but today the customer service was 10/10. The staff went above and beyond with friendly conversation and making sure my order was correct! Food was delicious as usual & I got to leave with a smile on my face! Thank you for the perfect end a long day!

Unbelievably bad and repulsive service !!! Don't eat here if you have kids! Maria YELLED AT MY 3 year old daughter over accidentally putting soda in a water cup. I was paying she handed my daughter the cup as I was paying! Then proceddes to yell at my daughter no soda in that cup! I then turned around and dumped it. she kept saying mam no soda in those cups. I said okay and a man put two dollars down. This girl then began screaming ! while walking to the back that I am staring at her and being disrespectful? My daughter was sitting in front of me and I was looking at her. I couldn't belive the disrespectful of this girl names Maria. I asked for her name she wouldn't give it then asked for a manager and he wouldn't give HIS NAME which apparently he's the owner and he then defended her saying she's doing her "job". Youre job isn't to make little kids cry. But clearly this restaurant doesn't care about ruining a child's day and a mom's. Don't. This gentleman who is a veteran and his wife left because of the mid treatment ! I will never be back. Jokes on this bitch because all of Redding knows her and hates her so you're name wasn't hard to figure out! Maria is a terrible person and gives off a very bad vibe as well as the ower who said she didn't do anything wrong. I will be letting everyone know how terrible these people are And to make sure not to take your child here! Because they are extremely rude to children. I take back this star you deserve 0

I have to be honest.... This place isn't really my cup of tea, nothing personal but I'm not a big grilled meats lady in general, and I have never been particularly knowledgeable of Hawaiian food. That being said my husband LOVES this place, he eats here all the time, and if that means I don't have to make dinner a few times a month they are A Plus Plus in my book. He raves about the pork, and loves the matsubi!

Being from Hawaii.the food is not like it is in the Islands.an they need to be trai ed more on how the cook Hawaiian food.just remmber folks.putting PINEAPPLE i. The food doesnt make it Hawaiian.then on the other hand .If thats all ya got .go for it.

Such a great bang for your buck. The katsu chicken plate with the fried rice was enough to fill with plenty extra. Flavors were great and service was spot on. Definitely a
Spam Musubi was good. However, the chicken in teriyaki chicken was too dry. Husband's Korean BBQ was good.

Redding, CA. I’m from Hawaii and Niu satisfied our Kalua Pork Plate Lunch cravings to a T. Ono everything. Slightly better price compared to other Hawaiian grills in Cali. Good service. Clean space with Hawaiian-style decor. Music wasn’t Hawaiian, though, it was maybe Vietnamese or Thai? I asked the guy at the register and he said he didn’t know. It had a steady stream of customers right up to closing. Highly recommend.
