Poppie’s pizza is wonderful. The food is great and the staff is always so kind. Our neighbor got us a gift certificate and now this is the only place we go to for pizza. Their prices are the best in town for the quality food and portion sizes.

I used to love this place. Delicious food. However, I tried to call in an order right now, Monday 11/3. They had a coupon on their website, valid for Mondays only. A buy one large pizza, get another large free, pickup only. The website said they were open, so I called them. The recording said to please hold, since someone else was getting their order taken. So I waited.
I decided to just drive over there, still on hold. I was on hold for about 15 minutes. Literally right as I pulled into the plaza where they are located, the recording suddenly changed, and the voice said they are closed, and will be open on Tuesday. The website still says they are open. So I drove all this way for literally nothing. Nothing but wasted gas.
So, despite how much I love their pizza, I won't go here ever again. I refuse to go back to a place that seemingly has no issue treating customers this way. I will simply take my business to Pizza Factory, and be treated far better. Goodbye Poppies. You were good while you lasted.

I absolutely love poppies pizza there's no pizza like it. However... on Thursday Oct 23 I drove 2 hours from where I live in yreka to Redding just to eat poppies pizza and they were closed! I was so confused because I checked online before I drove the 2 hr and there was no mention of it being closed, when realized it was closed I call and the answering machine said it would be open at 3 but it was 5 pm and still closed.

I’ve been ordering from this place for a long time. Tonight was the absolute worst experience. I’m pretty sure you guys forgot about my order. I called in and was quoted 1 hour- 1 hour and 15 minutes. In the past that means 45 minutes- an hour and 15. Tonight it took 2.5 hours to get our food and it was very much under my expectations.
When I called after an hour and 40 minutes no apology was offered the person seemed confused and said oh they are gathering your order and bringing it now. This was completely unacceptable and your free soda is not what I wanted I wanted fresh hot food. I ordered at 4:28 pm and didn’t get my food until almost 7 pm.
You could have made sure my food was fresh and maybe even offered a discount.

I ordered my first (of many in the future ) Poppies pizzas. The sauce is SO good. I called to ask and sure enough - it is made fresh in house. Poppies is a local gem that is not overpriced. I will only order pizza from them now. So yummy 😋

Last ordered here in April 2024. It was dirty, they dropped one of my pizzas on the floor. I ended up waiting for over an hour for two pizzas. I got a free 2 liter of Pepsi for my trouble, but both pizzas were badly made. This place has gone down hill. I won't be going here again.

My wife introduced me to this pizza and it is the one of the best pizza places in town. We live off of Girvan and drive all the way to Lake Boulevard to pick it up not to mention their customer service is great and the price is fair. Definitely call in advance always busy.
