Poppie’s pizza is wonderful. The food is great and the staff is always so kind. Our neighbor got us a gift certificate and now this is the only place we go to for pizza. Their prices are the best in town for the quality food and portion sizes.
I absolutely love poppies pizza there's no pizza like it. However... on Thursday Oct 23 I drove 2 hours from where I live in yreka to Redding just to eat poppies pizza and they were closed! I was so confused because I checked online before I drove the 2 hr and there was no mention of it being closed, when realized it was closed I call and the answering machine said it would be open at 3 but it was 5 pm and still closed.
I ordered my first (of many in the future ) Poppies pizzas. The sauce is SO good. I called to ask and sure enough - it is made fresh in house.
Poppies is a local gem that is not overpriced. I will only order pizza from them now. So yummy 😋
