Food was a complete 180 from the last time i was here. This place eserves at minimum a 4 stars. Will definitely be back! 3 times a charm!
My old review below.
Meh, i had the buffet for lunch here on 2 seperate days bout 2 weeks apart. Food on the buffet is just ohkay. Both times was the same. The palak paneer on both occasions was very dark in color and the cheese curds were brownish, this is my favorite Indian dish and on a 1-10 i give it a 3 at this place. There is a Priya in chico, they do a buffet too and its friggin bomb, i guess theres no affiliation.

I only leave reviews when I receive either excellent or extremely bad service. Unfortunately, this was the latter—the food was very unhealthy with terrible flavor and taste, extremely overpriced, and the customer service was nonexistent. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Don’t waste your time or money here.

Worst dining experience of my life!
I’ve tried Indian food many times before and absolutely love it — but this place doesn’t even come close to real Indian food. Nothing tasted authentic, and everything on the buffet was bland, cold, and honestly just awful.
To make it worse, it cost $92 for four people for a buffet that wasn’t even worth a quarter of that price. The food was shit, and the entire experience was the worst I’ve ever had at any restaurant. I left feeling completely disappointed and ripped off. Never going back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
I’ve been to many Indian restaurants all over the world, including in India, and Priya stands out as one of the very best.

We ate at Priya on the evening of Diwali, and were regaled with free desserts! All of the main course dishes were excellent, with each having thali side dishes included. We were surprised to find such tasty Indian food in Redding!

Small family owned Indian restaurant. Food was excellent. They have southern as well as the usual northern Indian portions were large. Price was very reasonable. Decor is dated and the establishment is in a strip mall but food was great
We loved it!
The Curry was my favorite!
The Nan is delicious, so fresh.
Ate way too much!

I went there with a party of five. We all received dirty water cups, the food was mediocre and we all left bloated and with upset stomachs that lasted for hours. And the service matched everything else. I don't even want to know what the kitchen must have looked like. Needless to say but we will never go back.
My friends and I had the worst experience ordering from this place. The food was far from authentic Indian cuisine. We ordered aloo gobhi, dal, butter chicken, naan, and kadai paneer—but the paneer was missing. While they did refund it quickly, the overall quality was very poor, and our dinner was ruined. We had to reorder from somewhere else.
Suggestion: If you're too busy or close to closing time, please don't accept orders. It's better to decline than to compromise on quality and service.

Service staff were great and welcoming. However the food didn't feel fresh although it was tasty. We went for the buffet on a long weekend. It was definitely sumptuous and had a great variety for vegetarians. Only wish was that the food was fresher.

A friend suggested we try this place for a couples date night and i said absolutely not. We went a couple years ago and this place was very racist and sexist. They forget we are in America and we treat our women with the same respect. My wife was told she couldn't order alcohol like the rest of us. They just looked at her and kept shaking their heads no asking the men if it was allowed. Completely disgusting to think someone should be treated that way because of their sex. Made the experience very uncomfortable.
