Service is always okay, never great. It's loud when you sit in booths. Sushi is good, but not many gluten-free options and no gluten-free soy sauce ever. If you don't like gigantic bites, ask the server to cut sushi smaller.

Our family has had many exceptional experiences at Raw in Redding! Paul, the Beverage Manager, added an uncanny touch of humor and kept the atmosphere lively with his jokes, all while providing prompt and efficient service. Doy, who also jokes with Paul, ensured the lively atmosphere continued throughout the evening. Immogen, one of the hostesses, was incredibly welcoming and hospitable, ensuring we felt right at home from the moment we entered. Robert, a waiter on one of our visits, impressed us with his swift and attentive service, always on-point. Brady and Nate, who both work behind the beverage counter, have consistently provided excellent service, further enhancing our overall experience. Bekah, another team member, was kind and caring, adding a warm and friendly atmosphere to our visit. Ali, the front-end-manager, was equally welcoming and made us feel truly valued. Overall, the staff’s dedication to excellent service has attributed to many excellent-memorable visits. Highly recommend!

Overpriced mediocre sushi. Looks so extravagant on the menu and in front of you but is soooooo bland. The edamame was okay. We got the spicy one which (to my understanding) is the soy version with some spice on it. The first few on top were spicy, the rest of them were not. Best thing there was my beer.
Absolutely fantastic food. Didnt need any extra salt or pepper. Friendly and great service! Cozy place and very neat and clean. Going again,

From the moment you step inside, this restaurant captivates you with its stylish ambiance and refined decor. The furniture is thoughtfully selected, blending comfort and elegance, making the atmosphere warm and welcoming—ideal for any gathering. My party of ten colleagues was eager to experience everything the place had to offer.
However, our experience unfolded with a few noticeable missteps. Four of us ordered cocktails, yet it took over 15 minutes for the drinks to arrive, as it appeared that only one bartender was managing the bar. This led to a bit of frustration, especially given the high standards set by the surroundings.
Once we ordered, the kitchen's timing proved inconsistent. Our plates arrived sporadically, with my selection—the chicken and pork belly Alfredo—arriving a full ten minutes before my colleagues' meals. I felt compelled to start while it was still hot, but one of my co-worker’s sushi sampler came out only after most of us had finished. Such a staggered service detracted from the communal aspect of our meal, which was disappointing.
Now, as for the food: the chicken and pork belly Alfredo boasted rich flavors, though it missed the mark in texture—surprisingly dry, with far too little sauce. However, the server took note that I’d barely touched it and graciously removed it from the bill, which speaks to their attentiveness and commitment to customer satisfaction.
Overall, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the service team did their best, but the coordination between the bar and kitchen could certainly use improvement. While a service charge was added for our large group, it felt justified given the effort of the staff. I’d return in hopes of a more seamless experience because the potential is there—just a few tweaks to timing could make this place truly outstanding.

I’ve always loved Raw and the food. But yesterday was my birthday dinner and I was so pleased with the customer service and how the stuff really accommodated me and my guest! The hostess was so’s kind I really wish I got her name and also our waitress was also such a good server!! The food was also fabulous🩷
