Still closed!
Took a Lyft to come here for my first time in. The pics looked fabulous! Got over during posted hours and it’s closed up. Went online to find out what’s up. I guess they are open occasionally? Too bad, I would have liked to have checked it out

Incredible atmosphere taking you back to an earlier era of 50 through 60’s! Ryan is a drink specialist who makes the best drinks in Redding! Fun place to go!

When you walk up to the bar, they first offer you some water. When people go to a bar, they go for alcoholic beverages not water. The place smelled like mildew and they run out of beer as the owner states she forgot to go shopping lol.

The best bar experience I've had. Very chill, great music playlist, the owners are very welcoming. I highly recommend you stop by and grab a drink!
The rudest bartender and staff ever. He grabbed my phone and threw it across the room because I was wanting to take a picture of me and my fiancé. They said the most horrible things to us. We thought maybe they had us confused with someone else or they were on drugs. i don’t know But we reported them. I was in shock
The place smelled like a poorly ran assisted living. (Terrible food and old people) would not recommend. Small and poor beer selection plus there was some creepy old man that wouldn't leave our friend alone. He reached into her back pocket and took her phone for some reason. To be fair we were there for 15 min
Old school cool bar.
Redding’s only bar with any legit vibe and feng shui. It’s almost a secret but in plain sight. Well-made cocktails and you will only believe it when you see it. JFK’s last fling. IYKYK
Excellent drinks in a 50', 60's atmosphere. Professional, blue collar bar. Great music.

The bartender was efficient, personable, and was pretty knowledgeable which is rare for Redding. The Squire Room is a unique vibe, with excellent atmosphere, friendly clientele and all around a good time. They are definitely worth a visit. With an excellent amaretto sour.
I went here with my best friend on a Friday night, not knowing what to expect. He hadn't been in 20 years, since before the remodel. The experience was incredible and I can't wait to go back. They have an amazing selection of American whiskeys, bourbons, and ryes. The bartender (Ryan) has an appreciation for whiskeys and was able to help us explore many amazing ryes, one of which wasn't even on the shelf. I've had about 40 different ryes over the years but this has really opened my eyes to premium barrel proof ryes neat.I'm from out of town but my friend lives in Redding. We were able to create great new memories that night. It was the best time I've had at a bar in at least 7 years. We'll be back next time I'm up.I highly recommend going here if you like neat bourbon or whiskey and aren't just chasing Blanton's (though they have it) but rather looking for something unique and a curated experience in North State. My friend introduced me to omakase (chef's choice) sushi and this was like that but for ryes. Amazing.
Great bar with great service. Music can get a little loud which makes it difficult to have a convo, but staff is friendly and really makes you feel welcomed.
What an absolute gem. This place was such a great spot. Friends of mine recommended as they have been back over the years. Feels like taking a trip in a time machine with the decor. Very 70s vibe, but done so very well. Feels very classy and service is exceptional. Everything feels intentional. The decor is perfectly matched. The space is tucked away to where you wouldn’t even know it’s there. You can really feel the care they put in with everything. Found a special whiskey there (Michter’s 10 year) that’s very rare to find. Their selection in general is top class. The only negative about this place is that it’s not in my home state. Will be back again.
Great places to go for a cocktail, the owner really knows how to make a mean drink. The decor is even better then you remember it from the olden days. Just beware about going when they are busy the wait can be a bit long but at the same time it is worth it.
