Came through the drive thru yesterday with quite a large order (12 drinks) all special ordered and altered. Waited maybe 5 min for the drinks got home and all of them were exactly right. The attention to detail was much appreciated. Great job!!

It’s frustrating—I spend a lot of money at this place and even bought a coffee here this morning. When I returned later to get some work done, I was told I had to make another purchase to stay. Everything seemed fine until I asked for a cup of ice and inquired about the AC, as it was uncomfortably hot inside. When I asked an employee, she didn’t even look up and just said, “Yes, the AC is broken.” I then noticed a large fan that wasn’t on and asked if it could be turned on. She simply responded, “I don’t know how to do that.” Another customer, who also agreed it was hot, got up and turned it on themselves.
Shortly after, the same employee who claimed she didn’t know how to turn on the fan approached me and said I needed to make a purchase to stay. At that point, I was already feeling uncomfortable due to the looks, whispers, and gossip over the headsets while I was being scrutinized. When I expressed my surprise, I was immediately accused of being hostile. Two different employees then came up to me and asked me to leave.
The whole situation was ridiculous. I wasn’t causing any trouble—just asking for a cup of ice—yet they treated me like an inconvenience. Anaya, in particular, had a terrible attitude, laughing, smiling, and calling me hostile as if I was overreacting. Whatever happened to basic kindness and courtesy? In the end the manager was cool about it and explained the policy to me and I conveyed to her that I understood the policy but felt mistreated. Either way, I definitely won’t be returning to this location.

I came in this morning after not having a great morning to begin with, to get some drinks and food for me & kiddos. I managed to spill two drinks on myself in the process and became quickly overwhelmed and left the drive through when the sweet girl at the register was trying to refund me a size discrepancy (I paid for a tall but was accidentally charged a venti, no big deal at all). But when she was figuring it out I was spilling drinks on myself and my phone that she needed to scan was tossed somewhere in the process. I left some of my food order and didn’t realize it till I got home. I called and thought maybe I could get a refund for the food item without driving back, and the women I spoke to on the phone told me they voided my entire order and they didn’t charge me anything. I probably didn’t sound the nicest on the phone because I was trying not to cry, and I ended up crying anyways when she told me. I just want to say in the midst of a crappy crappy morning they were so kind and so wonderful, and I don’t leave reviews often but I felt like I needed to for this experience, and also I’m sorry to the workers for putting up with my hot mess today. Lol

Starbucks website clearly has a list of drinks qualified for the red cup but was denied because it wasn’t festive enough for this location. A hot chocolate didn’t count according to the person who took our order. Not even the white hot chocolate. We had to choose peppermint with it. So we did with one. Never mind the fact that I had it on my phone to show them at the window but clearly they knew what they were doing, without reading the fine print. She gave me the second cup “just this time only” since the hot chocolate didn’t qualify. The drinks were terribly flavorless however way we ordered them “holiday” or not. Friends who were out of town seen these handed out like candy regardless of what’s in your cup.

I already am not a great fan of star bucks, I’m already having a hard time, so the first time I decide to go there in years was the real test to me of whether or not it’s good or bad. I wanted to be nice to my bf and told him whatever he gets I’ll split the cost on my card. We hand the girl, Josie, our cards and say “we’ll split the cost on two cards.” Then I watch her only charge my boyfriends card, and hand back both of them. I told her we wanted to split it and that she only charged one card, and she said “oh sorry.” She laughed but no one else was laughing. Not cool, Josie. It didn’t seem like a big deal to you, but for me you ruined my plans. Maybe if you would have offered to refund the transaction or do something to make up for it, I wouldn’t feel the need to leave a 1 star review on your name. What a great first time back here! I expected much better service. I’d give you a zero star if I could, since one seems like too much.

Pretty solid location, I had no problems and my order came in a timely manner. The place was clean and the baristas were cool. Ten for ten!
Without fail, this place always makes their drink consistently good! Everytime I come into town, I order the same thing and it always tasted the same! Other places tasted like leftover cereal milk, and can never taste the matcha in it.

Really nothing flattering going on. Same thing you can find in many locations across America. If you like it you like it, but honestly there are much better places (local) to get coffee in Redding/Sundial CA.
