I rarely crave a sub or any kind of deli sandwich. Its my least favorite thing to eat. Saying that! With how hot it's been all I wanted was a cold sub. When I tell this is probably the best sandwich I've bought in town- I'm👏telling 👏you👏!
I did a smaller sub on herb cheese bread, salami, turkey, and pepperoni with ghost pepper cheese, and veggies. The quality of ingredients was fantastic and the small sub is the same as most places regular sizing. Actual Value? In this economy? 👀
The filling to bread ratio was perfection!!! I sometimes find sandwich places have more bread than filling. NOT HERE! Shrinkflation? Who is she? Irrelevant. (That ghost pepper cheese is actually spicy if you're into that, 🔥 👌 😋 💯)
Outside of a fantastic lunch, the interior is such a warm and welcoming vibe. They showcase local artists work for sale so you get food and a gallery experience in one. I love how open everything is and you can smell fresh bread the minute you walk in.
If you want to beat the heat and enjoy some seriously good food? Come here. If you hate a good time? Don't.

I've enjoyed these sandwiches for years, but today was awful. She tried to give me bread flatter than a tortilla that was obviously not fit for customers, the meat was presided instead of sliced to order and dried out, and the bread that wasn't flat was stale, there's no way it was cooked today. All this coupled with absolutely terrible operating hours. Just go get a sandwich from subway or Safeway. This was not worth 15 dollars for an 8 inch sub. Also her attitude tucked and she acted like I was being abusive by ordering a sandwich. I wish I could give this place zero stars. DO NOT GO IT IS NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY

Delicious! Great quality and many options. They have several bread choices and sauces. I had the farmers daughter and it was kick a**! Cool atmosphere too. Thanks for a great sammy for the road on our way home to Oregon!

Disgusting. I ordered the favorite child on Dutch crunch and please see the picture because that's what they gave me.
The Bread was soft and squishy and not even properly baked.
There were two employees and one of them was sipping a drink and not washing her hands and then touching up the baked bread with her bare hands.
It was hot inside, so they had fans going, but they hadn't dusted them in probably 5 years and it was blowing right on the food.

We found out it was under new ownership over a year ago, gave it another try and couldn't be happier..BEST sandwich in Redding! Soft bread, all the toppings..great tri-tip sandwich, amazing bbq sauce! Hubby and I go twice a week. The employees are super friendly!

There was a white hard rock like substance inside one of the meat balls on my sub and it cracked my tooth. Also my bread was burnt but otherwise a decent sandwich.
Ok! I don’t write many reviews for food joints but after yesterday’s visit I just had to. I have eaten at Subarama a few times over the years and always enjoyed my sandwich but yesterday was amazing. Basing my sub order on what I usually ordered at Subways, I ordered a 12” (which fills me up) and my wife ordered a 6”. The wife ordered a Turkey with Swiss and a ton of veggies while I ordered the pastrami with provolone with lettuce and tomato. My sub was humongous (6” wide x 12” long) and stuffed with thinly sliced pastrami, provolone, and my veggies. I could only stuff down half of my sandwich and enjoyed the other half for supper. My wife could only eat half of her 6” and enjoyed the rest for her supper. Both subs were fresh and delicious. Goodbye Subway forever!

They have the best sandwiches and it’s worth the money every time I go and it’s freshly made and there 12 inch is a actually 12 inch i always get the French dip on the cheddar and herb bread.

Really nice girl working alone, answering phone calls and taking care of customers. Doing a great job. The sandwiches were huge and very good we enjoyed them watching the 49er game.
