A+ With serious extra credit. Thiago helped bag our meal, and all the servers worked as a team to make the experience awesome.. the Mongolian beef is the best in town hands down. This is the place to be.

We went to Sweetspot for lunch yesterday. Life has gotten away from us and this was the first time we have been back since they moved to this new location 2 years ago! We definitely won’t wait that long to come back though!

The food is phenomenal, and they are expanding to include more Sailing Boat items since that Chinese restaurant closed. The ramen was absolutely delicious and just what was needed on a cool autumn afternoon! My husband got his at level 2 spiciness, and it was divine. We each chose the Chicken Shoyu ramen, along with fried dumplings for an appetizer (wonderfully light and crispy, with a very authentic pork filling, just like my mom makes!). I do wish the ramen included the soft boiled egg (costs an additional $1.25), which usually is included in an authentic bowl of ramen soup at most restaurants I have been to in the past.

Our lunch was finished with two perfectly baked, lightly sweetened tea cookies to complement the umami saltiness of the ramen soup. We cannot wait to come back again, especially to try the addition of dim sum items that are coming in the near future. Redding needs more restaurants like these (with ethnic food, independently owned)!

We already love the ramen, potstickers, rice bowls, and pulled pork buns, they are some of the best food options in Redding, but we just tried the new Chinese menu and it was amazing! Definitely the freshest Chinese I’ve ever had, you can tell it’s really fresh and home made. The flavors were wonderful. We got the sweet and sour chicken, fried shrimps, chow mein, and egg rolls it was all superb!

Very kind owner and attentive staff. I loved the vibe. It was so busy there that the parking lot had no spaces left. I will be back to try the sorbet. This is a good place to go if you need gluten free.
