Taste & See Creamery

What an amazing surprise “Taste and See Creamery” was on our trip to Redding! While Ice Cream can most certainly put a smile on almost anyone’s face, this place is on a whole other level! Aliyah made this experience truly special for us, she was genuinely friendly and let us each try a flavor to make sure we liked what we ordered. It was as if she was exited for us to try the ice cream, and her interactions with each of us was always delivered with a smile. She was knowledged about the establishment and told us a bit about “Taste and See Creamery” we loved our experience here and the ice cream was off the charts!

All in all an outstanding ice cream experience. They welcome you to taste the different flavors. The service is fast and extremely friendly. Ice cream tasted great. Dining room is bright and clean. Some nice tables outside.

Ok! Are you ready to taste the best ice cream you’ve ever had?? They definitely named this creamery right, taste and see!! We were passing through Redding and stayed overnight. We went there after dinner and I literally had to stay in town until they opened the next day just to get it again before leaving town! Trying this place has literally ruined ALL other ice cream for me, nothing compares, so beware! You will dream of this ice cream!

The junior scoop is now the size of tiny ketchup cup and is about $4, the single can no longer be split and all 3 sizes are over priced! 2 stars for the quality of ice cream & ambience, but it’s not worth the price. Won’t be having ice cream here again til these pricing & sizing issues are fixed!

I was really impressed with the flavors. I got the malted chocolate chip cookie dough and was very happy.

The ice cream options are great here. Original flavors that do not feel or taste like they came from a distributor. It is a small facility, with a welcoming atmosphere.

Nice shop, great selection! They had some Dairy-Free and Gluten-Free options that I was looking for.

Honestly, I love ice cream, and this ice cream is delicious, but is it $12 for two single scoops delicious… no. I can’t believe that 2 tiny scoops of ice cream cost that much. We were already in the drive thru so we were kind of committed after ordering and couldn’t really back out. I could almost buy 3 gallons of ice cream for the same price that these two tiny scoops cost me.

The new Orange Creamsicle flavor was very good. My kids loved it!

I may have just eaten the best chocolate ice cream ever! It reminded me of gelato I had in Venice. It really is that good.

The ice cream is so good, and the cones are out of this world. A must stop.

Very good ice cream and atmosphere is so inviting with games and comfortable seating.

Found this on DoorDash and gave it a try. It seemed like a local place and had intriguing flavors. Glad I did. Balsamic strawberry was not balsamic at all, so bummed. But banana toffee was outstanding. Very good was the lemon cookie one, Nutella s’more flavor, and the malt cookie dough. Would definitely recommend.
