Chicken Shack - Churn Creek

The chicken was tasty, but the batter was cooked until it was really hard and tough to bite.
Plus they forgot my dipping sauces.
The angry Mac and cheese was great!

We were staying in Redding, California and this is the second time we’ve eaten at this specific place great food and the staff was very friendly with basically no wait time.

If you like stomach aches and diarrhea then this is the place for you. My workplace decided to get lunch here and all of us felt like crap! Eat at your own risk. We definitely won’t be back!

Great fried chicken spot. A variety of sides and sauces. Wings served different ways, big crispy chicken tenders, sandwiches, even chicken fried steak. I have and will continue to recommend this place to friends looking for a quick bite to eat.

OMG the best chicken ever! I had the chicken waffle sandwich. Chicken was perfectly cooked and juicy. Not dry at all. Waffle was fresh and soft. Great texture. Great apple slaw on it. The pickles are to die for. I cannot say enough good things about this chicken place. The biggest problem is I live an hour and a half away. I will make that drive.

This is a must visit location for the best chicken in Redding California. I prefer this to Chick-fil-A although I would say Chick-fil-A is a close second. The staff at Chicken shack is friendly, professional, and fast. So if you're ever passing through Redding definitely check out the Chicken shack on churn Creek right off I-5 I promise you you won't regret it

I already felt bad for coming in only a couple minutes before closing but I’m pregnant haven’t eaten all day cause nothing sounded good until I thought about fried pickles and they even gave me extra made me whole night🥹❤️

I love this place. They have the best overpriced chicken dishes you will ever find. But....once you are finished with your meal, the price is worth the experience you just had. Give this place a try, I think you will find it to your liking as well. Highly recommend giving this place a try

$20 for 3 deep fried chicken pieces and a small drink. Chicken had very little flavor. The girl taking my order had zero personality, didn't look me in the eyes, and mumbled to the point I could barely hear her. Then my order was just plopped on the counter without anyone calling my name. I sat there for a while before realizing the bag on the empty counter was actually mine. Not impressed with the food or service. 1st time here. I will not be coming back...

Great chicken and great fries! I like going here whenever I'm in town. Fountain sodas are outrageously priced though (over $3.00), so watch out for that. Definitely go to the Churn Creek location, it's the best! You guys need to bring a shop to the Portland, Or area and teach them how to do fried chick right.

I worked here when this place first opened before the rebrand. And it is not what it used to be at all. Honestly 0/10 fries ,wings and mac were all cold served. Flavorless wings and the most expensive I’ve ever seen in my life. Over 2 dollars a wing with nothing on it 😂
