Amazing atmosphere, amazing people, delicious food amazing wine just an all-round great experience and let me tell you if you don't like wine your mind will be changed once you visit The Grape Escape!! My husband never liked wine but this place changed his mind!!Thank you to our dear friend Richie Morris for the invite and amazing food, wine and entertainment by the band Shelley Rusk.If you haven't visited this establishment, please do Kayla and Adam are amazing people Richie is a super amazing outstanding chef and friend!It was just an all-around great experience ❤?
I cannot say enough good things about this place and it’s all because of the owners Adam and Kayla. They are such incredible people. I’ve never felt so warm and welcomed when walking into a business. Adam greeted us at the door with handshakes and introduced himself. Kayla chatted with us at the bar and gave us great recommendations. We’ve been back several times since and they both remember us which is so special! Add fantastic wine and prices on top of that and you’ve got us coming back as often as we can!! We’ve tried a bunch of what they have to offer by glass and the best part is once you find a wine you like you can purchase the bottle, drink it there, and whatever you don’t drink you can take home! Oh and did I mention that all the wine is from small and family owned wineries in California? Love supporting local businesses. The Grape Escape really makes you feel at home.

I rarely write reviews, but this little wine bar is too exceptional. The owners were so friendly and happy it was hard not to love this place before we even sat down. The homey atmosphere only added to the ambience. It feels like the quaint tasting rooms you'd find in Callistoga or St Helena, but in the heart of downtown Redding. The wine was delicious, the crepizza we had was delicious, and the top notch service only added to the overall experience. I only wish it was open more days of the week so we could go more often! You cant fault the owners for this, though, as The Grape Escape is essentially a passion project. Needless to say, we enjoyed every minute of our time here and will undoubtedly be back.

Quiet and classy. Fresh Crepes are great and a smattering of French food I did not expect. Sweet and savory, wine is just fine. Ask about their Wine Club if you're a regular! :)
