Very nice wine bar that often hosts live music from local and visiting artists. The owners are awesome and give personal service. Sample the wine selections and enjoy some crepes. Better yet, join the wine club and they will provide you with awesome wines tailored to your taste!

Just passing through town, and was feeling some crepes. We ordered: Te FitiStrawberry fields Florentine Cookie Monster Food was great, would definitely go there for the food. It's an intimate area and the people seems to know each other. The down side was the staff or patrons, seemingly regulars didn't make us feel welcomed. Come here for the food, I wouldn't stay for the company.

I cannot say enough good things about this place and it’s all because of the owners Adam and Kayla. They are such incredible people. I’ve never felt so warm and welcomed when walking into a business. Adam greeted us at the door with handshakes and introduced himself. Kayla chatted with us at the bar and gave us great recommendations. We’ve been back several times since and they both remember us which is so special! Add fantastic wine and prices on top of that and you’ve got us coming back as often as we can!! We’ve tried a bunch of what they have to offer by glass and the best part is once you find a wine you like you can purchase the bottle, drink it there, and whatever you don’t drink you can take home! Oh and did I mention that all the wine is from small and family owned wineries in California? Love supporting local businesses. The Grape Escape really makes you feel at home.

This is such a chill wine bar. The owners are always welcoming and the wine is delicious! I like purchasing wine and champagne bottles from them because it's convenient and sometimes cheaper than in store....plus the wine they have isn't sold anywhere in Redding. Anyways, they plan on opening the outdoor area soon and also using that area to host movie nights. Should be cute! Come check it out

I rarely write reviews, but this little wine bar is too exceptional. The owners were so friendly and happy it was hard not to love this place before we even sat down. The homey atmosphere only added to the ambience. It feels like the quaint tasting rooms you'd find in Callistoga or St Helena, but in the heart of downtown Redding. The wine was delicious, the crepizza we had was delicious, and the top notch service only added to the overall experience. I only wish it was open more days of the week so we could go more often! You cant fault the owners for this, though, as The Grape Escape is essentially a passion project. Needless to say, we enjoyed every minute of our time here and will undoubtedly be back.

This is a great place to enjoy a glass of wine or even a cider. It's small friendly and I'd have to say a place that you could quickly be talking to complete strangers if you chose too. If not, just enjoy those you are with. And believe it or not, Excellent crepes! We each shared a sweet and a non-sweet crepe. Not a bad pairing. We will be back for both the wine and crepes.
