As a Scotsman who loves a good fish & chips, I can say this was pretty good! Nice crisp to the batter, plus all the fixin’s are available. Good value for money too!
This fish joint is absolutely fabulous and delicious!! If you enjoy fish you will definitely enjoy this restaurant. And their homemade tartar sauce? It's absolutely delicious!!!
Great fish and chips. I'll be back!!!
Best fish and chips in redding
Food was alright just seems the battered fried fish could use more seasoning in the batter. Kept having to pour on the salt. Loved the fact that we went twice and ordered the 3pc fishNchips but they kept giving us 4pcs instead🤷🏾♀️the fried mushrooms were indeed the best ever tho!!!
Excellent everything. Best fish and chips in town. I tried fish tacos last time, and they are also the best I've had in town!
Gem of a find!
On our way from SoCal to Seattle and stopped in for lunch. The gentleman that took our order was friendly and explained the menu which was helpful.
The food was fresh (calamari, fish and chips, and clam chowder) and very good in flavor.
They played 80s music at an acceptable volume and the place was clean!
We enjoyed our experience thoroughly!
The food was great... We had the combination dinners with fish and scallops. We also had the fried Oreos and loved them....
What a disappointment!!! My mistake was trusting the reviews. Being from the east coast, I had never had a chowder bread bowl made of sourdough. Gross combo! The chowder was very liquidy, NOT thick and creamy like some of the reviews said. It lacked any flavor at all. I never add salt to my food, but I had no choice in this case. And I added a ton of pepper just to “try” to flavor it up. There were maybe 3 clams total, cut into tiny pieces. And only slightly more small potato pieces. Before getting there, I told myself I’ll have to come back and try the fish and chips sometime. After seeing the complete menu of literally everything covered in batter, not just the fish and chips. And after trying the soupy chowder, I decided I won’t ever be returning. The young dude at the counter was nice, the decor was standard kitschy seafood dive, but neither are enough to be a returning customer. As someone who’s lived in Maine for many years, I was totally bummed. This place had the best reviews for seafood for Redding. Yuck!

This is absolutely our new favorite place in Redding. The fish was buttery and fresh, the fries were simply delicious, and the prices were reasonable. If you order a one piece, you'll get two pieces of fish - we can't wait to go back!

My husband loves the fish here. I like it once in a while. It's too greasy for me. But delicious fish when I do indulge.Good prawns also. I'm not a fan of the fries. I like the mushrooms.
Very friendly service.
Like everywhere else, the prices have increased substantially, which means we indulge much less than we used to. ?♀️
