THE Best Pretzels in SHASTA COUNTY! You may remember this place as being inside the Mt. Shasta Mall for many years, until a subpar/overpriced pretzel chain weaseled its way in, forcing these far superior pretzel-meisters to move on (Big mistake, MSM!). Thankfully, they're still very much in business, just a bit harder to find, located in a drive-through kiosk right next door to the IHOP on Hilltop Drive. Definitely worth seeking out, though, if you love fresh-baked soft pretzels—and big ones at that. Wait time is typically five minutes or more, if yours is the only car in line. Prices are very reasonable too, considering the national economic downturn we're in at present. And because of that very thing, don't be too discouraged if you occasionally find their hours of operation to be hit-and-miss; it's not easy running a small business right now, which is why we need to support excellent local establishments like this one. A surprising number of beverages are on their menu as well, and a huge variety of dipping sauces and toppings are available for your pretzel, if you're into that sort of thing. Me, I'll take the simple salt/butter combo each and every time and be perfectly happy, no muss no fuss. I could easily make a meal out of a warm, toasty three-pack—and I have—with no regrets. Heavenly. The lovely lady who works the window is a real sweetheart, too. Leave her a massive tip.

These are the best pretzels, warm, fresh, dripping with butter and salt, drool!!! I go here every chance I get to town. Addicting and down right delicious. Very nice and welcoming customer service, good conversation. Order the three pack at least, trust me. I'd have a photo, but always forget to take one, until I get done shoveling dynamite food in my mouth, lick my salty fingers, and sigh in relief. That's when I go, oh yeah, picture...
