As a delivery driver who takes food to their customers they lack the enthusiasm and prioritize walk in service before anything else causing customers food to get cold and late deliveries. I do not recommend delivery from this establishment.

2 slices of meat on an 18$ sandwich. Unbelievable how cheap that is

I absolutely love coming here! The place is always super clean, and the staff make you feel so welcome every time. The food is fresh, made with clean ingredients, and you can really taste the quality in every bite. It’s one of those spots where you leave full and happy every single time. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat!

I love Sourdough Bread Co. I love their bread and I love their Caprese and garlic pesto turkey sandwiches. All of the locations I’ve been to have been great with the exception of the one on East Cypress.
Both instances where I have received poor customer service from this location, it has been when the woman was working. First time, I went to the store to get some bread and they were closed early. She was sitting outside and I was like I know it’s close to you guys being closed but can you open up for just a few minutes so I can get some bread and she refused. She could not give me a straight answer about why they were closed earlyand then nonchalantly said that all of the systems were down and that’s why the store was closed. With the way she said it and her tone of voice I didn’t believe her, and I told her, I do not believe you.
Today I went there to get bread again, and she was very short with me, rang me up, rushed through the entire checkout process so I couldn’t leave a tip and then when she handed me the bread, I said thank you, and she said absolutely nothing and walked away. I worked in retail and customer service for over 20 years, and the way she treated me both times is unacceptable. I will no longer be giving the E. Cypress St. location any of my business.
If you want to eat in an establishment with crappy customer service, eat here, if not stay away from this location and go to a different Sourdough Bread, Co. location in Redding.

Had a roast beef sandwich one day and returned the next day with my family for the Turkey Cranberry sandwich. All of our sandwiches both days were super fresh!
Avi was so friendly with A+ Customer service both days. Rustic eating area was spotless, food and service was superb.

The food is amazing! I am here all the time! The staff are so sweet and checked up on me while I was eating. The atmosphere is so calm and inviting. While on the more expensive side of sandwiches it is well worth it. I will be back!

Oh, West Coast Sourdough in Redding, you’ve truly earned your gold star in customer service disasters! ⭐️ Ordered through Uber Eats, only to discover you decided to play Santa and gift my sandwich to some random stranger—how generous of you to use my money for it. When my Uber driver arrived, you had the gall to shrug and refuse to remake it, acting like I’m pulling a fast one for wanting the food I paid for. I had to call and—brace yourself—explain the revolutionary concept that your mix-up isn’t my fault. The lady on the phone? A real ambassador for hospitality, dripping with so much charm I nearly forgot how to blink. She suggested my driver cancel the order, leaving me charged and starving, with a side of “deal with it.” Stellar move for a place I’ve loyally thrown cash at multiple times a month. Oh, and this is the second time you’ve turned my order into a scavenger hunt. Not exactly a glowing look when your staff’s attitude screams “we dare you to come back.” Oh, and owner, must be nice letting this clown show run itself into the ground—check your reviews, because your service is a Yelp horror story waiting to happen. This circus act is giving “how to tank a business” vibes. Props to my Uber driver, who navigated your chaos with more class than your entire operation. Do everyone a favor and get your act together before my next order ends up in Narnia.
