First time trying here was super excited , however was super disappointed. Being charged for extra toppings & not even getting those toppings on my sandwich is super frustrating. Not only did I not get the toppings I paid extra for but I paid almost $7 for a small cup of mac n cheese for it to be completely cold & hard… maybe in the future I’ll give this place another shot but for now I’m not going back..

Okay redding so I see mixed reviews, and I will give my honest opinion. So the server who took our order was Subh he was kind a thorough! He answered all our questions and delivered a pretty good sandwich I had the BBQ brisket and the lady had a chicken pesto. Which she thought was delicious and you must get the fried jalapeños for a lilittle extra spice. So overall clean not bad on pricing and we went at night so was fairly quick not a long wait. So the only way to see if you like it is to give it a try blessing 🙌

I left a review several months ago, indicating that the food was good, but the service was very poor. I think it’s only fair to say that I have continued to go back, and the service has improved quite a bit. I wouldn’t hesitate recommend Them now. Good job for improving service.

I was very disappointed in the portion size, I ordered the french dip and although the bread was delicious, it didn't make up for how little the sandwich was. Sandwich shops nearby have sandwiches double the size, for same price or cheaper who also have delicious bread!

Don't waste your money here, the only positive is the bread. Ordered a bbq tri tip sandwich meat was not fresh, and was heated in a microwave. It was so over cooked it was dry and crunchy. Service is sub par, rude not friendly, do not communicate well at all and are obviously not happy to be there. Overpriced and gross. If you want a good sandwich hit up Dills or the sandwich shop downtown. This place is a franchise nightmare.

Ordered from doordash, restaurant forgot items and blamed it on Doordash. Called the restaurant and was told i could pick up my food in the morning, an hour before closing.

As a delivery driver who takes food to their customers they lack the enthusiasm and prioritize walk in service before anything else causing customers food to get cold and late deliveries. I do not recommend delivery from this establishment.

2 slices of meat on an 18$ sandwich. Unbelievable how cheap that is

I absolutely love coming here! The place is always super clean, and the staff make you feel so welcome every time. The food is fresh, made with clean ingredients, and you can really taste the quality in every bite. It’s one of those spots where you leave full and happy every single time. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat!

I love Sourdough Bread Co. I love their bread and I love their Caprese and garlic pesto turkey sandwiches. All of the locations I’ve been to have been great with the exception of the one on East Cypress.
Both instances where I have received poor customer service from this location, it has been when the woman was working. First time, I went to the store to get some bread and they were closed early. She was sitting outside and I was like I know it’s close to you guys being closed but can you open up for just a few minutes so I can get some bread and she refused. She could not give me a straight answer about why they were closed earlyand then nonchalantly said that all of the systems were down and that’s why the store was closed. With the way she said it and her tone of voice I didn’t believe her, and I told her, I do not believe you.
Today I went there to get bread again, and she was very short with me, rang me up, rushed through the entire checkout process so I couldn’t leave a tip and then when she handed me the bread, I said thank you, and she said absolutely nothing and walked away. I worked in retail and customer service for over 20 years, and the way she treated me both times is unacceptable. I will no longer be giving the E. Cypress St. location any of my business.
If you want to eat in an establishment with crappy customer service, eat here, if not stay away from this location and go to a different Sourdough Bread, Co. location in Redding.
