This is the cutest bakery and cafe I've ever been to - I can't rave about it enough. The service is amazing - everyone is so friendly! It feels so homey and cozy inside. They sell a large assortment of drinks, pastries, pies, and trinkets/food items from local businesses including fudge, hot sauce, whipped cream, shirts, serving trays, etc.
When Pie Meets Bread has managed to create an amazing third space! The entire upper loft area is filled with homey couches, nooks, tables; spaces to chill/read/snack/eat.
We were looking for a place to get coffee and read a book and were blown away. We ended up getting an iced green citrus tea, dirty pumpkin chai latte, pumpkin cheese danish, spinach artichoke danish, and a mini peach pie. Everything was delicious!
While we were there, we witnessed how the staff interacted with many customers and we felt so lucky to be part of this little slice of community. Every customer was treated like family, many of them repeat customers and known by name. We will be coming back and cannot recommend this place enough.

They have some great gluten free options! Most places in Redding do not cater to GF people at all so it's nice to be able to go somewhere where you can order a nice GF treat. Although unfortunately they don't do GF bread for their sandwiches so if you are GF you're stuck with cakes, pies and other sweet treats.

Got two of the quiche, a morning bun, and two different danish for the family and all were crazy good. Looking forward to trying the sourdough pizza and other items. Definitely recommend for everyone to check out. Found some great books for my daughter upstairs as well. Staff was super friendly and accomodating when my son dropped his pastry.

I got the spinach and artichoke danish, raspberry matcha, and avocado toast. Everything here is fresh made and delicious! They have a huge selection of goods they made plus local goods as well. It’s very spacious and cozy inside. The pastry and matcha were amazing.
I finally found an excellent French Country Sourdough bakery. Hats off to this couple and their new brick and mortar store. The pies are amazing and they actually have a Rhubarb Pie with the stinking strawberry’s. Excellent pies.
