Always great service! Val is a rockstar BEST fried pickles in the North State. Woody’s signature tots are a MUST try. Spicy Cali chicken is epic, be careful of the ghost pepper cheese if that isn’t you thing… maybe pepper jack 🔥. Always a good selection of beer/ cider

Absolutely love Woody’s. Moved to Redding in 2014 and it is the place I take all out of town guests too. Routine taps, seasonal, staff specials, all are great. While there’s a ton of IPA and Hazey options, I prefer the stouts, porters and this Tripel. Burgers, taco Tuesday (carnitas are my favorite), mac and cheese, can’t go wrong. I’m not a professional with food photos. You’re lucky I took any before devouring another meal here, which is why you don’t see the loaded tots.

Unfortunately, the service today was very poor. Although the beer was very good! Our chicken buffalo sliders can be applauded as well as the tator tots. We decided to take our food to go as the service was slow and our beer was consumed way before the food arrived. We were disappointed that the house sauce for the tator tots was forgotten. After looking forward to our yearly visit to Woody's as traveling home, we left a bit disappointed.
