Best place in all of Northern California for fresh sushi. Food is delicious and the service is excellent. My family really enjoys eating there. Whether you like fresh delicious sushi or delicious Korean Barbecue. Yama Sushi & Korean Barbecue is the place to go in Redding California. Highly Recommend.

BEST SUSHI PLACE IN REDDING!!! I've been everywhere and this place gets everything right! The sushimi, the rolls, the ramen, the meat. All of it is excellent and I was beyond impressed. The waitstaff were lovely and the atmosphere was so nice. Please go here if you have the opportunity, I promise you won't regret it!

They have a very unfriendly receptionist or waitress, a woman who wears glasses. I felt very uncomfortable She acts very nervous and suspicious as if they are hiding something. She may have an inferiority complex and tries to judge people to compensate. I could sort of see through that and actually thought it a bit funny. afterwards.. Wonder if they are from N Korea or somewhere traditionally hostile to America . I spoke to the manager who listened and apologized but I will not recommend this place. When it comes to food you have to feel reasonably safe with restaurant staff.

Tried the all you can eat Korean bbq. Just awful. They say all you can eat but they leave you alone so you can’t order more. One server left alone so service was poor. Using the word poor is a compliment.
We had a table of 5, 3 pieces of broccoli were given. 3 pieces. Chicken tasted old. Ribeye was odd. No seasoning but a tiny bit of salt in a sauce tray. Nothing was replenished and the food was honestly disgusting. Never again. 200$ wasted.

Been here once. Had all you can eat the service was horrible and it was truly not all you can eat we were served once and then ignored for the rest of the night. I tried ordering the other night and they didnt want to take my order and kept saying it was my card and they wouldnt accept cash upon arrival. This place isnt the best. Coming from orange county AYCE was my go to.Unfortunately... Redding doesnt have it. I tried giving them another chance. Good Luck

We went on Veteran's Day during lunch for the Sushi Boats All-you-can-eat. Service was prompt and attentive. Food was good but not a lot of variety. Sometimes you had to wait a while to get something different. I think it was worth going as my wife and I are definitely full. It was a very interesting concept with everyone around the Itamae, sushi chef, with all the boats floating by with different plates of sushi.

Love how they have a piano being played while you eat! They'll make you whatever you want (Sushi, Korean BBQ or Chinese food)....All of it is good, but I specifically go for the Sushi ✔️

Great self grill table and all you can eat place to enjoy with friends or loved ones. Pricey and there are rules, but I dont think you can experience something like that anywhere else in town. I'm sure most would compare it to just simply having a bbq outside, its just a little different culture wise, gotta just try it. Tables have built in vent for all the food smoke, so the air inside was very clean. Staff was also nice!
