I love Back Alley so much, not only for the delicious coffee and tea but also for the lovely atmosphere. The nitro cold brew is absolutely delicious and one of my favorites around. It’s also a great place to meet with friends or business partners because of the kind of environment it provides. The staff is always very friendly and so welcoming to others. I would highly recommend people try this place!

Student friendly and spacious coffee shop tucked in downtown Redlands. Probably the best area for studying, meeting up with some people, or finishing up a paper. Highly recommend for students as there are plenty of desks, comfortable chairs, and outlets in the back room and in the front. Would highly recommend the oatmeal cookie latte here if you’re looking for a drink.

I love Back Alley; the workers are always nice & the atmosphere is relaxed. Sometimes it can be a bit noisy/busy but it doesn't last for too long. Coffee here is also pretty good & the tea is great here! I enjoy that they do tea of the day as well.

Nice little shop, I have visited it multiple times both by myself to study and to meet up with friends. The staff has been friendly when I am there and they have great option of locally brewed coffee. There are a few seating areas in the front and then they have a back room with a bar section fro studying and two more tables. They also do open mic nights on Thursday's in their outdoor patio area as well.

I'm not a die hard Augie's fan, so this review is completely objective (didn't even know about the drama until I read through some of these reviews). But I love this place! The atmosphere and art and decor is awesome. The staff is super friendly and really make you laugh and feel welcomed. They have plenty of outlets and comfortable seating. They also have a bunch of fun flavors for lattes and coffee. I do wish they had some more pastries or goodies for sale, though. But (again, objectively speaking) is just an all-around good coffee shop. Definitely recommend an Almond Joy latte!

A bittersweet experience. Full disclosure, it's hard to ignore the obvious in that this used to be (and practically still is) Augie's iconic building. If you're a longtime fan of Augie's, I can't imagine coming here doesn't feel a little strange. That said, attempting to be as objective as possible, Back Alley Coffee is certainly a pleasant coffee shop experience.
