Had us wait in line 30 mins in the rain after confirming they had tamales … and when we got to the front the cashier refused to serve us because we didn’t call ahead of time.. terrible service WASTE OF TIME

We have relied on El Nayar for our prepared masa for as long as I can remember. We especially appreciate that they can prepare it with vegetable oil instead of lard if you request. This year we were out of town and used a different bakery. We realized quickly that using a different bakery was a mistake. Nothing compares to your masa! We just finished a fresh batch of tamales with your masa and they are perfection. Thank you for being a reliable business. Quality, consistency and great customer service.

I ordered 4 beef, 4 pork, and 4 chicken tamales. I got 8 beef and 4 chicken. The beef ones were a little bland but my wife liked them. The chicken ones were a little better and came with potato and green chili slices inside.
Their baked bread is good but I wish they had a bigger selection.
Their menudo is the reason I am writing this review. This is one of the worst I've ever had. I bought 3 and had them fill up my pot from home. It is very greasy and has a weak taste. It isn't seasoned well at all. There isn't enough homini or meat inside. Their corn tortillas are delicious the 2 times I have tried them.

The Chicken and Beef Tamales are Always the Best! Love them. Only thing is this time around the potatoes were Not diced small they were Big Chunks of Potatoes inside the Tamales but they were still tasty.

I went today for the first time, I thought I did a great choice because there is a ranch market close to this bakery but I decided that I want to try this place, NEVERRRR AGAIN, NEVER, the costumer service it’s HORRIBLE, the lady was on the phone all the time, when I was going to pay I asked her about the panque and she rolled her eyes on me, really rude and she didn’t give a receipt when I asked she got more mad😡

First time everyone said the bread is good. Was looking forward to my coffee and sweet bread on a Sunday morning. Very disappointed the bread didn’t taste or feel fresh. The bread had no flavor I will not return and will continue to look for a sweet bread place in Redlands.
