Excellent experience at Tartan of Redlands. Had reservations for four and we were treated very well from the first greeting until we left. Steaks we ordered were prepared as ordered for all and were well seasoned and tasty. Good sized portions. Our waitress was very attentive and accommodating. We were celebrating a 50 year wedding anniversary and the waitress really made the night very enjoyable for all of us. We traveled 70 miles for this dinner and will return for the hospitality and food.

Took advantage of the outdoor dining area and enjoyed dinner and live music by 'The Jazz Junkies' Our order was Peppercorn New York Strip and Atlantic Salmon. The salmon was accompanied by seasonal vegetables and the strip with a baked potato. Both were prepared and cooked to our liking. Finished off with a dessert of Creme Brule and Cheesecake topped with a strawberry compote. We opted to bring our own wine and paid the 19$ corkage which is reasonable. Will be a repeat customer.

This was our first New Years Eve dinner at the Tartan. Despite the rainy cold weather, the outdoor dining on the covered patio/heated patio was comfortable. We attended the seconding seating at 8pm with the band making the countdown to the East coast ball drop enjoyable and fun. The food was amazing, with the filet and lobster leading the way. But their prime rib is always on-point. Overall a awesome time dressing up a little and enjoying a delicious dinner!

We booked a reservation very early. The one thing that upset me is, we were stuck way in the back in a corner and everybody was stacked on top of each other. Also, the New Year's noisemaker's hats. We had a party of 10 and we only had enough for Five people. Also, with booking the reservation, Wayne in advance was hoping to be upfront closer to the Music, but we got stuck way back in a corner. Couldn't see the band couldn't get up and move around because everybody was pile on top of each other. Food was outstanding service was wonderful. Felt a little bit rushed. It was supposed to last till midnight at the Band stopped at 10 o'clock so we ended up leaving early.

The Tartan is our family go-to when it comes to getting together. This was the first time I've had all three of my kids together in several years...the best Christmas present I could ever ask for.
We were visiting Redlands for the holidays from LA and ended up at Tartan for a drink and some food. What a GREAT find. It is a classic local pub with great service and a cozy atmosphere. The Egg Nog Martini was a perfect way to get the festivities off to a start. The food was all delicious . The Flat Iron Steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly! Definitely a great place to eat if you are exploring the downtown shops.

Came for the live band for Motown / R&B on a Saturday night with my reservation (recommended for outside seating to hear and see the band) for a party of one at 8pm. I arrived on time on a rainy evening. I was expecting to be sat to a table but to a lonely bar (not used to serve drinks). My back was to the band. I didn't mind not seeing the activities but turned around on occasions. I waited to be attended to as the staff passed me by numerous times not noticing me. I asked a staffer when will someone tend to me and mentioned my 15min wait at the outside bar. She seemed surprised and asked if the host at the entrance sent me to the outside bar. I replied, “Yes, this is where I was escorted.” She left to check with the host and returned and dutifully asked for my order. From there, she was attentive to me while making me feel relaxed. Food was tasty, prime rib (chef's kiss). The band had a playlist like mine. So the crowd was into that vibe. Overall, the evening could have been disastrous. My staffer/server save the night with her attentiveness. The live music and atmosphere was my dessert for the night. I'd return and assure to be attended to from my arrival.
