Absolutely embarrassing. We spent over $40 for a takeout order of Carpaccio di Bue salad and a tiramisu for our friend visiting out of town. When we got home, I was horrified to open the takeout tin to see a wilted mash of a mere handful of arugula that looked like my cat was the chef that vomited it to serve us. The tiramisu was mediocre at best. We had to cook dinner for our friend to make up for this mess. They should be ashamed of themselves for the state of their food. It was an expensive lesson to learn not to eat here again. There are MUCH better Italian restaurants nearby. Never again.

The service here was nice. It wasn't an overload of staff checking up on you. The ambiance was nice place to do a celebration infact any celebration. We ordered a bottle of wine as we were celebrating a birthday. The food we ordered appetizers - calamari were delicious my kind of calamari - bruschetta Entree's Lasagna bolognese Fettuccine al Bardo Fettuccini al limone con capesante This was amazingly good. Definitely my type of new finds Linguine ai frutti di mare definitely can't go wrong if you love seafood Shared some some dessert but was waaay too full to complete.

Me and hubby's fave Italian place in the Village! We have been there three times in the last month, and most recently yesterday for Valentine's Day dinner. Great food and friendly staff!

We drove 1 hrs plus 2 couples one from Huntington beach other from Hollywood. The restaurant was c0ld , food average and service was poor. We had to ask for wine menu, ask to take our orders and seemed like they were in rush all the time . No one came to check on our food or further needs. I would not want to or recommend the place to anyone for the price was not cheap, esp wine menu list way out priced although we had 2 bottles

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The restaurant is on the smaller size so if you have a noisy table near you, which we did, it can get a little loud. I think other diners would be more considerate so this shouldn't be a problem most of the time.

Praise the lord I can finally eat pizza again! Best gluten-free pizza I've ever had! I will be trying all of their pizzas and all of their wheat free pastas next! We stay away from seed oils and wheat! When you find out how many toxins are in American seed oils and wheat you will too! This is the healthiest I've ever been!Anyway, thank you Avenue Italy for helping us to eat healthy and offering options! This restaurant now become a weekly occurrence! A very happy customer !

Have eaten at Avenue Italy a few times now. Food and service are very good. Owners are from northern Italy so dishes are authentic. Quaint restaurant with great service, easy parking and indoor/outdoor seating options.

Best service we've had in a long time. Bartholomew was our service and he was excellent. I got the linguine Al fruitti which had so much seafood and the noodles were cooked perfectly. My boyfriend got the scaloppine di vitello which had the perfect amount of garlic seasoning and veal. You have to get the crème brûlée for dessert! You won't regret it!

My Branzino was awful..what should be a simple dish which I've had at many restaurants was drenched with a rich sauce. Potatoes and vegetables were ok. The Spaghetti and meatballs were dry and lacked taste Ceaser salad was ordinary Very disappointed!

Food is delicious. Restaurant is cute & well kept. Wonderful service & staff is very helpful. I ate the pork chop which they just released- it was one of the best pork chops I've ever had... very tender & flavorful. Eggplant Parmesan is also delicious. Our waiter Bartolomeo deserves 10 stars!!

They showcased their Lobster dish as Wednesday's special. We set our date night accordingly and went to this restaurant. I was about to order a $75 wine, my wife felt something was off because the restaurant was almost empty. So I asked if they are doing this Wednesday special and I was told there is no Wed special. They didn't know why. Regarding the service, even though we didn't eat anything, the attitude of the guy was not welcoming and warm, but he might be only doing his job without any smile or any welcoming talk.

Service is good. Usually pretty attentive. We've been three times. Food is pretty good, covered outdoor seating with heaters available. Feels like a European restaurant. Music is a little loud if you are next to the speakers. They actually have Mediterranean food too that's not shown on the website or main menu. I imagine it is like a ghost kitchen for takeout and deliveries mostly because they hand you a little paper Mediterranean menu along with the main Italian menu. There is some parking in the building garage that was around $3 with validation if I remember correctly, but we usually find a meter on the street for restaurants in this area. My friend had the veggie lasagna and said it was really good. I had the Mediterranean veggie plate that was a good amount of food for the price, side of pita was very thin and hard, not good, and one time we ordered a salad where they didn't put the beets in it. We mentioned it to the waiter and he just said he would notify the kitchen, that was the end of it. Never came back with beets or an apology or explanation. Most of our items were tasty and severed as ordered. Overall a nice place and I would return again.
