We enjoyed the food very much, along with the nice ambience and views of the marina. The Wild Mushroom Flatbread, Noble Garden Chop, and Carnitas Tacos were tasty. Had brunch and dinner here because we were staying at the hotel. The staff was friendly. There was live music Saturday night and for Sunday morning brunch which made our experience even more enjoyable.
Food needs improvement. We had high expectations and the team is wonderful as well as service(although it took very long to get food with a few hick ups). Quality and quantity of food is very underwhelming.
Baleen Kitchen has good food but can be unpredictable. I made reservations for 4 thinking we would be at the main dining room. When we arrived we found out that the main dining room was closed and we had to eat at the small cocktail tables in the bar area. This was a disappointing surprise. This has happened to us before. We like Baleen Kitchen as the food is generally good but they need to figure out how to give us advance notice so that we are not surprised when we get there.
