I decided to order take out and wanted to find a better place than my old sushi spot. I must say not only are their portions big, it's fresh and simply delicious. My kids are picky eaters and they loved it. My husbands not a sushi eater but he ate it all! My new favorite place!!!

Over the course of the year during Covid, Miyoda has sought to increase or maintain their portions, especially the sashimi quality and quantity, compared to the years prior to Covid. Kudos to them for not opting to give less, like other Japanese sushi restaurants. By maintaining their quality to their customers, they have retained our loyalty in ordering from them, rather than from other sushi restaurants. Their sushi rolls, sashimi, tempura, baked rolls and fish entrees are the best value in the South Bay. We do miss the front seat ambience watching the sushi chef work his skills, but glad that Miyoda still continues its business in this tough economy. I'll add a pic of samples from our take-out order. The sashimi is vibrant, being fresh, and the spicy tuna roll is excellent

Have been going here for 15years and the quality of food has never been compromised. I feel it is as good or better than Sugarfish in their fish quality, variety and prices! LOVE Peter-son, his hospitality and humor is irreplaceable. Highly recommend this to anyone who likes quality sushi!

Love love the seared salmon with citrus sauce, and the seared albacore! Super flavorful and yummy, very nice workers, very covid conscious. Had Christmas eve dinner delivered from here and everyone loved it.

Love this spot during normal times and delivery did not disappoint either. Got beautiful chirashi and a rainbow roll. Also got some ikura, tempura, and karaage for the kids. Everything was nicely packed, fresh, and delicious!
Customer service is great and the food is delicious. We will be going back soon and often.

I had high hopes for this place since I love Mom and Pop restaurants, and this place definitely has that feel... the place feels like it has been around for a long time, and the ladies that greeted me were all older Japanese ladies that screamed authenticity. However, I found the food and sushi to be just ok. Not bad, but nothing memorable or unique. I also ordered some non sushi items and the rice that came with it was not cooked well, which is a pet peeve of mine. Also their miso soup did not taste very flavorful, which is a minor detail that says a lot about the restaurant. I can't say the food was bad though... so I gave it 3 stars. If I come back again and have a different experience I will certainly update my review.

Traditional and exquisite. We re discovered Miyoda a couple of years ago and it's been part of our monthly rotation. Their fish is always super fresh and generously served, in any of its cuts. Beyond sushi, the fried chicken (tatsuta-age) and tempura are always on point. Miss going to the restaurant but for now, we are happy to get timely and contactless deliveries. Support local businesses

I've tried this place twice and it's nothing but a disappointment both times. I gave it a second chance only to have them not include a roll in my takeout order that I paid for. Wasted money, mediocre sushi. I am never coming here again!
