This is the best pizza in the entire Los Angeles area. Pizza is my guilty pleasure on Friday nights, and I've been trying all the places I can find. Before going to South Bay Pizza, I tried a new spot each time. I haven't tried another pizza joint since my first pizza here. The guys working are always friendly, pick up the phone quickly, and get the pies out within 20 minutes every time. The owner is this local, down to earth guy who is actually in the restaurant most of the time. You can tell how proud he is of his shop by the way he treats his costumers and his craft. I've already converted my family and friends to South Bay pizza. Please give them a shot. It's a hidden gem.

Aye this pizza is fire. Af. Not all greasy like some of the other pizzas in the SB. Wings are fire, they got a unbelievable version of honey mustard like unimaginable until you try theirs (so don't steal the sauce). And the pesto sauce on the pizza was fire. Along with cinnamon knots with the icing. It's like a fine dining pizza with a carnival ending. Great for the fam, or the that one female who likes to eat a lot!

Pizza was light and crispy & Came out so hot and fresh we had to wait to eat ! Baked wings instead of fried so they're a little less crispy but so juicy and flavorful it made up for it . Definitely recommend

Husband wanted to try out a new place and he was craving chicken wings. Found this spot on Yelp and we got 18 wings, split flavors: garlic Parmesan & Carolina tangy gold bbq. The Carolina tangy gold bbq was described as a sweet (kind of like chick fil A) sauce and my husband and daughter rated 5/5. So I honored their rating.I don't like the regular chick fil A sauce so I didn't try these chicken wings. I did try the garlic Parmesan wings and they were OK. I usually like my garlic Parmesan wings super garlicky, with noticeable Parmesan on it. These weren't it. I was going to rate them 3/5 but My husband told me the flavor was more noticeable on the wings at the bottom. Tried them and you can smell the garlic and parmesan, but I would still rate it about 4/5. Please note we ordered to go/ take out and placed a phone order. So I'm not sure if eating-in would've made a difference. The pizza store looked pretty small, like a family owned business, with small selection of seating inside. Besides the flavor comment, the wings were decently meaty and fell right out the bone. We will be coming back to try their pizza & regular bbq wings!

Current view: Not even crows will eat South Bay Pizza. Don't be fooled by the social media photos that make their food look somewhat delectable. If Domino's is the benchmark of pizza mediocrity, then South Bay Pizza is where it goes to die. We decided to give this place a try when we were craving Little Coyote in Long Beach. The drive to Redondo was half the drive. That's what we get for picking a pizza place out of laziness! My gut told me Run Away when we walked into the mini-mall counterfront-service South Bay Pizza, staffed by two: a perfectly nice but bored teenager behind the counter who didn't know how to work the computer and a bored but perfectly nice older man folding pizza boxes and showing his coworker how to enter our order in between making pies. This clearly wouldn't be a Little Coyote experience, where the proprietors take pride in their product and it's evident in their atmosphere, staff, and food. However, it was worse - much worse - than I imagined. It reminded me of the god-awful Little Caesar's pizza I once regrettably ate (due to a combination of team spirit and low blood sugar at a work conference). I didn't think it was possible to make Little Caesar's look like a gourmet masterpiece, but congratulations, South Bay Pizza, you've achieved the impossible with your cardboard-like crust to the rubbery chemical-y cheese, flavorless and stale toppings (is your pineapple actually dehydrated Army rations?)PS: the crows left without eating a bite (the wisdom of animals!) and the pizza will be going in the trash.

Such a great find! Located in a small strip of restaurants right off of PCH, you'll find a cozy little pizza shop.Luis, the owner of South Bay Pizza was super friendly and offered a variety of suggestions and popular menu items found on their menu. We decided to go with a pizza, wings, mac and cheese bites and a chocolate chip cookie (WITH ICE CREAM!) for dessert! For the pizza, we decided to go half Meat Lovers and half Spinach Artichoke. That way we get some veggies and lots of protein! The wings were really good. They bake the wings here but, they are still nice and crispy and super juicy. The garlic parmesan flavor was so good, I even poured some over my pizza! for more buttery goodness. My brother loved the mac and cheese bites, and the chocolate chip cookie was phenomenal. The cookie was soft, gooey with tons of chocolate chips, and the ice cream on top was the perfect way to end the meal! Will definitely be back for more wings, pizza and cookies. Next time I'm in the area, I think I will have to try their pizza tots or pastas!

Picking up a super huge pizza for today's munching. Look at how small I am next to the pizza. I picked:1. Chicken pizza with pineapple topping2. BBQ Chicken wings 3. Small cheese pizza

If you're in the South Bay area, you gotta check out South Bay Pizza. They're a small family owned shop located just a few blocks away from the beach so you can easily order some pizza, head down to the beach, and enjoy!I got their BBQ Chicken Pizza and their Spinach and Alfredo Pizza. Not a lot of places have a good selection of Alfredo-based pizzas, so THANK YOU for having such a wide variety!!Both were loaded up with toppings and each bite was so fire!! I loved that the pizza wasn't oily either. Don't skip on their wings and cheese bread either. The wings were meaty, tender, and perfectly drenched with the sauces. I would recommend eating the cheese bread right away when it's fresh so you get that maximum cheese pull. If you still have room for dessert, they also have pizookie. Their cookie is sooo moist - which is exactly how I like them :) The ice cream, on the other hand, is one of those pre-packaged ones. They're not the best but still decent. Honestly though, I would just get the cookie itself!Overall, a solid go-to pizza spot in the South Bay!
