I go to this nice place quite often! This is the best place to grab a bite. I visit this spot at least once a month. The food is just great, the staff members are professional and the price is good. I like eating in this spot to have a good lunch.

I MISS THIS PLACE SO MUCH!! This is the best Italian restaurant I have been in the United States! Authentic Italian food in a elegant yet cozy setting. Good for families, couples, friends or even solo dining... the owners will make you feel welcome and you will enjoy the best fresh made pasta made outside of Italy. Restaurant is European style, so DO NOT expect huge grotesque-sized dishes... just the perfect serving size... and DO NOT expect to be rushed to pay the bill, you can enjoy your meal, chat with staff, greet the chef! I felt the essence of Rome when i walked in this cozy little spot in Redondo. Ive been looking for good local wine bar and i have finally found it. The food and service is superb. I had the ribeye and truffle fettuccini that came out excellent. The creme burlee was perfect. The prosecco and red super Toscana wine was by far my favorite part of the night. Meh. Too much hype and too much oil. The wait was long. Seafood is fresh but was ruined because my seafood linguine in pomodoro was drenched in oil. The risotto wasn't bad. It was light, not too buttery. The seasoning is also something I'm not use to. Maybe they're from a different part of Italy. Will not return.

My table choice was blaring airport lights, or so dark I couldn't see the menu. Then, not a soul in sight for service. Worst atmosphere, worst lighting, worst service I've seen in a while. Wow.

As a frequent patron of restaurants with well over 100 visits per year (not fast food) I am well aware that service will inevitably suffer somewhat on saturdays. But we were certainly unprepared for this fiasco. Started with over 10 minutes being ignored and no water or drinks. Second problem, by no means, unique to Bottega, small tables incapable of fitting glasses, water, appetizers and bread for 4. Ended placing the bread on top of the menus, returning one glass of water, and placing finished plates on a chair of the neighboring table. On a busy Saturday evening there was one single waiter cruising at full speed, but incapable of performing an adequate task. At the end of the main course, while we waited what seemed an eternity, to facilitate the picking up of dishes, we had a high stack of plates in the middle of our small table. When I complained to the young owner, she said I didn’t know what I was talking about. She threw the check on the table and left. We were not offered coffee or dessert. A gorgeous summer evening ruined by an insensitive owner.

Me and ny husband travels a lot and are wine and food fans. We eat at highend restaurants but also loves good local places. We always check Tripadvisor and often the are right. This time ut didnt do us well... The food was very sloppy and the service as well. Not once they asked how we did, if we where satisfied. No love for the food and no one for their guests. 140 dollar down the drain Only plus was the bread and the oliveoil and that we got the food quick so we could leave
