The only con was that the doorman was really rude to us. Since we are visitors here, we don’t have a United States ID, and he told us he wouldn’t let us in. We were very surprised, as we hadn’t experienced anything like that anywhere else. Thankfully, another staff member stepped in and helped us get seated. Other than that, we really enjoyed the food and the service!
We had a great dinner and service here last night for Mother’s Day! The service was excellent and we were greeted by the nicest and most accommodating hostess named Cissy! Wonderful evening all around!
Love this place! We've been regulars for over 25 years. Like the great steak houses of the 50's and 60's - leather booths, low lighting, fireplace and active bar. Excellent steaks, great martinis, crisp salads and other choices. The staff make us feel like family. So friendly and efficient - from the waiters to the bartenders to the maitre D's and even busboys - everyone is personable and efficient.
