California Pizza Kitchen at Redondo Beach

Wish my experience here was better, I used to love this location 2 stars solely because the food was good but service was lacking compared to the past. Came in as a party of 2 and a party of 6 that came 10 min after we did got seated first. Got some excuse our table was next but still no explanation as to why we got shafted.

It's CPK you know what your getting and that's what I got. The waitress was very attentive and nice. An overall pleasant experience.

Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options.

Parking: It's a mall it can get packed but you will find a spot.

Dietary restrictions: The had vegan options

I guess they’re having a hard time finding help. We arrived at about 4:30pm and had to wait until a 2nd server arrived. But, the purpose if this review is to remind servers to offer fresh ground pepper and cheese. It used to be standard practice. Now, the food is dropped off and they whisk away to do something else.

Came here for a family gathering. We were seated quickly upon arrival since it wasn’t busy. It was a total of 10 people. The waiter was very nice and his service was on point. I got a cedar plank salmon which was $25. Worth it? No, the salmon was under seasoned and it only came with a side of Mexican street corn. The corn was fabulous though. We did have a bit of mix ups, our food was mixed up but all the staff there were super super kind and acted quickly. Besides the mix ups, we still had a nice time there. I would still recommend to anyone who wants to have a nice date or little family reunion. Thank you CPK. ??

Teresa and her team were incredibly accommodating for our party of 30+ guests. Teresa worked with me weeks in advance to plan the menu and set-up and ensure we had a seamless dining experience. From recommending each dish to setting a family style table run to accommodate all guests, she made sure to fit everything in the 2hour window we had to dine and leave. I would have never imagined an experience like this in a chain restaurant, this team is incredible and went above and beyond. Jon and Veronica had exception service and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. They were efficient and friendly. Thank you Teresa and team for making this such a wonderful experience, not to mention that the food was delicious!!!

Love this place! Went on a Sunday. It was not crowded at first, but before we left it packed quick. I ordered cauliflower wings, spinach dip, and veggie pizza. The apps were good, but the first pizza was hard and dry. The redid it. It was much, much better. ??????

Super disappointed, went in for a Sunday Brunch with my family, got seated pretty quick but service was awful. Was seated at 11:27am and didn't get my drink until 12:48pm, other families that were seated after us got their food and drinks while we were there waiting for our food and drinks. Valentino was our waiter didnt attend to us at all was busier attending other customers. He brought me my drink and literally all the ice was melted of it sitting at the bar for about 20 minutes mind you I didn't even our an alcoholic drink but a cooler. Overall awful service, Will not be coming here again

Good service and friendly atmosphere

Came in about 8:05pm . No one acknowledges us for about 5 minutes. Finally get seated. Server comes by to get drink order and a starter. Starter came out somewhat quickly. 30 minuets in , no drinks and never came back to get order. Got bus boys attention to speak with a manager. Her attitude was bad , like as if we were disturbing her. Placed an order for a pizza to go and finally got a drink to go also. Over 40 minuets in and still no pizza to go.

Will cut to the point.1. Our potato wedge appetizers came when we were already done eating.2. Our fruit bowl for the kids entrée came when we were done eating.3. We asked for no Chicken in our pasta. It was topped with Chicken.4. Our pasta sauce was straight water.Our waitress only said sorry and walked away. We waited around to speak to a manager but the staff never came back when we paid on the mobile app.The table next to us also had issues. They never got half their appetizers and their pasta was bad.Will take the extra 10 min drive next time for the Rolling Hills location.

First time eating at a CPK this location is very nice our server was the best very attentive .. i feel terrible o don't recall his name he had blond hair & glasses ??‍♀️ the food was great we had a cob salad and loaded pizza again i dont recall the name ..only down fall was the host they had full open side and sT us in the smallest booth table by back corner mind you im not a tiny women i like space and i like to be able to see my lap between the table and myself ..I kept seeing her seet bigger ppl in these cramped booths idk why the place wasnt that busy and there was seats all over I myself am a Bartender been a server ,buser and host there was plenty of tables to seet ppl in .. other then that everything was great!!

Speak for yoyrself bases. I had a thai crunch and got a bad stomach ache straight to the toilet. It suck i had to feel this way. The waiter didnt even ask if i needed anything untill we were finished with our ecoli meal. Not funny.not coming back to this location!

I went in and waited 5 minutes to be seated, despite there was plenty open tables. My waitress was friendly too African American People! I hadn't had my menu for long and was still looking to see what I wanted. She never checked on me and her Attitude was not what it could or should have been. I got disgusted and asked for a to go bag and she, I wouldn't return to this California Pizza Kitchen. Wasn't pleased at all with the service. When her race Mexican, came in, she was smiling and laughing with them! She Never even said Thank You! For coming in. To show her that I wasn't going to stoop to her level, I still left her a tip. I wouldn't tell a friend to come eat at this California Pizza Kitchen.
