Captain Kidd's has been on my list to try for a while, and I finally made it. The atmosphere is decent, with a nice view of the water, but the whole experience starts on a sour note with the paid parking. It's a bit of a shock to pay just to park at a restaurant.

We come here specifically for their live Dungeoness Crab. You choose the crab and they cook it for you on the spot. It doesn't get more fresh than that.
They have lots of other seafood, as well. Their class and clam chowder are very good.

An amazing place if you're a fan of fresh fish. The ambiance is not stylish, so you may not pick this location for a first date, but authentic with great 70s music. The service was great (it's an over-the-counter place), very helpful (I had questions), and very friendly. Their fish was amazing - just as you would expect from a place like this.
