We live within walking distance of this place and we will be back. We paid $15/burrito but mine was huge and lasted me two meals. Very generous portions. They also have a salsa bar. We loved sampling all the different flavors. Food was great!

I ordered a chicken tostada and it was delicious. My Husband ordered 2 beef tacos with rice and beans and he was given a good portion. He said it was good. They have a covered salsa bar which makes it hygienic instead of the open ones. The staff is so nice & friendly. They also have a restroom if you need one. The restaurant is quaint. Btw, they also gives you a complimentary chips & salsa. You get a 4% discount if you pay cash. We'll definitely come back next time we're in the area.

Casa Playa is my favorite local spot for Mexican food! I live in town and I come here all the time for their chilaquiles breakfast plate. The green and red sauce are both so good, I can never choose. Food is fresh and flavorful. Service is top notch. Bonus points for a generous self-serve salsa bar with nearly 10 flavors/types of salsa that you can't find anywhere else. Don't sleep on Casa Playa if you're in Redondo Beach.
Welcoming staff, great food and excellent salsa bar. We got some street tacos, a burrito and a carnitas plate. The carnitas and pastor were fresh and flavorful. Good chips and a variety of salsas from the self serve salsa bar, yum. 10/10

Salsa bar and fresh chips, always a hit. Super friendly staff, and now they have beers and a few drink options, can’t beat that! This Mexican spot is located on the west side of Catalina at the corner of S Elena in Riviera Village. The decor is very authentic for a taco shop you might find in Mexico and it feels inviting and relaxed. We had grilled and crispy fish tacos which were both delicious. The loaded Carnitas burrito was just the right size, filling but not overwhelming. Nothing tasted greasy or fatty and everything was very fresh and flavorful. They have a nice salsa bar with half a dozen levels of heat to keep everyone happy. The food here is just good, and they use quality ingredients that you can taste the difference. Service was friendly and efficient so it is easy to get in and out if you need to do a quick lunch. The summary is fresh, tasty, food at a reasonable price with great service. Must try if you are a fan of Mexican food.

It’s been a blessing coming here. Not only is the food ( I always get the tacos) great, the owners and staff are amazing. Also, 5 minute walk to the beach with tacos and a drink. If I could give 10 stars I would !!! Amazing space !!!
