We live within walking distance of this place and we will be back. We paid $15/burrito but mine was huge and lasted me two meals. Very generous portions. They also have a salsa bar. We loved sampling all the different flavors. Food was great!
I ordered a chicken tostada and it was delicious. My Husband ordered 2 beef tacos with rice and beans and he was given a good portion. He said it was good. They have a covered salsa bar which makes it hygienic instead of the open ones. The staff is so nice & friendly. They also have a restroom if you need one. The restaurant is quaint. Btw, they also gives you a complimentary chips & salsa. You get a 4% discount if you pay cash. We'll definitely come back next time...
Casa Playa is my favorite local spot for Mexican food! I live in town and I come here all the time for their chilaquiles breakfast plate. The green and red sauce are both so good, I can never choose. Food is fresh and flavorful. Service is top notch. Bonus points for a generous self-serve salsa bar with nearly 10 flavors/types of salsa that you can't find anywhere else. Don't sleep on Casa Playa if you're in Redondo Beach.
