Apparently reservations mean absolutely nothing. This used to be one of our favorite neighborhood places but their greeters are absolutely incompetent. This is now the 2nd or 3rd time where we have made a reservation and then arrived to be told that they haven't saved any tables for reservations and we will have to wait 20-30 minutes. Fool me once....we left.

This place is obviously for tourist. The food is not Mexican. It’s tacobell mexican. I ordered fish taco, Ensenada style or Baja California style and they served it with ranch instead of crema, And even though there’s a lady making fresh tortillas… don’t be fold! the taco are NOT serve with handmade tortillas. On the bright side, the staff is really nice.

Had a fantastic time at Coyote Cantina! The drinks were just perfect - strong and delicious. The Steak Tidbits and Blackened Chicken Enchiladas were both standout dishes. Plus, Carl, the owner, was incredibly welcoming, making the whole experience even more special. A cozy spot I'd recommend to

The food and service are wonderful! Be prepared, however, for a noisy dining room at peak hours. Hard for older folks to hear one another. This is not a criticism; obviously it is popular place. It is a great place for families!

It was my first time at Coyote Cantina. We were with a group of seven and Oprn Table originally made our reservation outside. Outside hadn't been used for awhile so the bartender advised us to sit inside. The restaurant is comfy/cozy and got filled up quickly. Our server was quick to come to the table and get our drink order. The drinks are great. I loved my house margarita. Our group ordered a couple of appetizers. The corn ravioli was so delicious. I believe they're drenched in a cilantro sauce. Whatever it was, I could drink it. We were dipping chips in it. The restaurant's traditional Mexican dishes are good but not great. I feel I should have relied on the advice of the Yelp reviews and stuck with their specialties. I will definitely go back for appetizers and drinks!

I love this place! The staff is always so friendly and the food is incredible. I love that the fajitas come on a skillet and the queso is incredible. The guy with the accent is awesome! Always gives phenomenal service. Love love love coyote cantina ?

We always come here early for dinner so we can catch their awesome happy hour specials. The food is great, and the servers are always going above and beyond. The atmosphere is casual but refined.

Atmosphere and service was great. Went for taco Tuesday/happy hour and was disappointed. This place is a gentrified Mexican joint. The taquitos look like the taquito packages you can get at Target. The quesadilla was plain and had no flavor. The tacos weren’t that great either. Head down to Maderos. Now that’s some good Mexican food.

I've reviewed before I think ... pesky website keeps poking for publicity. The thing I like about Coyote Cantina - aside from the margaritas - is that they have seafood options you don't see nearly anywhere else. It's very "fresh Mex" and a delight. Try it, you'll be amazed at some of the goodness. The crab and lobster enchiladas were amazing, the sweet corn ravioli sounds weird but is fantastic, and the lobster ravioli sounds Italian but it's all Mexican spices.

Two disappointing things, the chips were stale at the beginning and we got stuck at a table in the back so the ambiance was just ok. We were staring at a divider and could hear lots of kitchen noise.
