At the time of my visit, the fountain drink machine wasn't working, the online order machine wasn't working, the prices that were listed on the menu were not correct, there were only two sides available, the machine to pay wouldn't accept gift cards, and the ice cream machine didn't work. There were so many things wrong with this place that I doubt it will be open much longer. I used to go to this place 3 times a week. Now, I'll never go back. It's way over priced now. $12.49 for a pulled pork sandwich by itself is way to much. I can't see paying almost $20 for a combo, when it used to be $12.

So I wish I had looked here before ordering $150 worth of food to only show up and find out they are CLOSED. I have reached out multiple times via customer service and PayPal and NOT ONE person has reached out to me or reimburse me. How is online ordering and paying STILL active for a closed store. Ridiculous. Really a shame because I used to go there and liked it.Update: This was the lame response from guest experience: We have received your message. We are sorry for the issues. All our stores are independently owned and operated. Unfortunately, we are not able to access their financials to process any type of refund. This place is CLOSED! They ripped off my husband!! We did an order online thinking Redondo Beach Dickeys was still opened for business! Wrong! Scammers and Thieves! Our order was for a party of 12 people for an October 14th, 2023 party! My husband was expecting them to deliver at 5:00 pm and no delivery, so he drove to location and a closed sign was on door! Dickeys owes us over $200. Corrupt business.! Don't trust an Dickeys Restaurants!!! I had to put one star in order to post this!! This corrupt company deserves zero stars!!!! Corporate office needs to refund my money!!! It's now October 27th and I still have Not be refunded my Money!!! Refund me my money!

I don't think I've ever left a bad review of a spot but today was so...underwhelming. Service was good, price was fine as long as what was ordered was good. We got home to like half a tiny roll soggy on top of ribs and the brisket. I know food never looks like the picture but I thought the same ingredients would come on as advertised. It was all thrown together almost haphazardly. We live maybe 1 1/2 mins away and it was cold when we got home. Ribs supposed to have Texas toast and this is was was there in the picture... they were out of a lot of things and then when we finally did eat it was..just okay . We are rarely that disappointed with something but for the money we assumed it would at least fill us up for dinner/: Again staff was friendly though

These guys are the best! I had to order for a party of 40 to be picked up mid afternoon and to stay hot for a 20 Mile drive. They didn't miss a trick! They not gave me a great way to keep it all hot, they overloaded me with goodies, packed them perfectly, helped me getting it to my car! Best of all, they made me look like the heroine of the day because everyone loved it! The food is just great barbecue. Thank you Dickey's! I can't imagine anyone being better.

Published hours are incorrect for Sundays. Although it wasn't 8:30 pm, none of the locations answered the telephone, and the Gardena restaurant waved me off, pantomiming that they were closed.At least the Redondo Beach shop, when proving a pick-up, had wonderful food.

Ribs tasted baked like they cook them in the oven not a smoker. They don’t put the sauce or ketchup or anything out for you anymore. Very uninviting dining room in general. They DO NOT want you to eat there. The ice cream machine is out of commission. In fact, the sign telling me to leave this review is on the old broken ice cream machine. Lol! The bathroom hasn’t been cleaned in weeks by the looks of it. Dickeys in general has been on a steady decline for the past few years. Service was fine if a bit curt. So disappointing.

Have heard and seen this place at various areas around town, but never went in. I decided to go in after the holidays and one that had ribs/brisket. Location: Various. A quick internet search will lead you to the nearest one. This one was in Redondo Beach in a shopping center. Has it's own lot so there's plenty of parking. Hidden in a corner of the center. Food: I've had so much ribs in the last week, I decided to get brisket instead. The platter was just too much for my small appetite. The meat was kind of dry, but tender if a bit salty. Adding the spicy sauce helped a lot and I opted out of the pickles. I would have liked it more if the bread had been toasted or at least buttered. The potato salad was good,, but I felt the beans bore too much of a resemblance (in taste and appearance) to the canned Van De Kamp's beans. You guys can't make your own beans??Service was quick and personable so no complaints there. There is a seating area and ambiance is very casual with multiple photos and marketing did an awesome job of promoting the down home country feel. Summary: Pricing is what. you would expect in a rib joint with inflation squeezing everyone in the nuts. But I think it's fair all things considered. Still, I need to come back and try their ribs on another day or try their platter meals. All in all ,not bad for a chain restaurant and I can see why people like them. The sauce (comes in original and spicy) was good and didn't try to kill me with a vinegar boot to the nose. However, those beans need an overhaul. Let's see how the ribs stack up next time.
