By far the best food in the South Bay
We recently visited for dinner and it had been a while because we moved away. This place is so special and I really love the owners. The food is always spot on, and I had such a great wedge salad there. The portions are huge and the service is warm. I hope this place stays forever.

I love dining out but only a few restaurants have inspired me to post a review - this was one of them. Having grown up thinking French food was formal and fussy, it is not usually my first choice in dining options. Dominique's Kitchen has changed my perception. This small, intimate restaurant with friendly and competent service turned out to be a gem! Food was presented nicely and the taste was as good as it looks. I had the beef bourguignon and my husband had the pan seared sole. The beef bourguignon and mashed potatoes was rich and deeply satisfying. Dessert was Belgium dark chocolate mousse and French Basque cheesecake (mousse is my favorite!). Good French food without fussiness!

Hands down the best restaurant in the South Bay and a hidden gem. Their onion soup and New York steak are the best I've ever had. Could rival a NYC restaurant. Every other restaurant pales in comparison in the South Bay.

Friends in South Bay discovered this gem during Covid through Dominiques takeout menu. They have been raving about the Beouf Bourguignon and I finally made it in house!
It's a cozy atmosphered neighborhood spot. Decent non-exorbitant wine selection and large portioned dishes! It was perfect for a dinner with friends who like to eat family style and share. And we had plenty of leftovers for lunch the next day.
I enjoyed the escargot and the sardines spread. Snagged the last lobster & crab agnolotti and with gracious friends had bites of the sole and beouf bourginon which was good. It felt like having amazing food at your French grandma/aunties/parents' house. French fine dining for me has plateaued so having this type of family kitchen and bistro cuisine, especially French, was amazing. Good quality ingredients, refined basics through experience and just hearty cooking.
The service was friendly and nice. I think they had one server for the whole place (its small and cozy) but can be overbearing. It's just that type of vibe where you just go with it. It is was a fine dining pre fixed paring type of place, may have been annoyed. But we just enjoyed the hearty warm atmosphere and the bottles of Sancerre Rouge helped us in a gracious and laughing mood.

I went there on a friend's recommendation and it was great. The food and service were top notch. The only negative was that the regulars seated next to us drank too much wine and were too loud.

This got to be the best French restaurant in California. If you are looking for authentic French food cooked by a well experienced French chef, this is the place. The beef ribs are fantastic but as a matter of act every other item on the menu is delicious.
A really quaint and delicious French restaurant in Redondo Beach. I stopped in for my first time this past weekend and was really impressed with my dinner. The food quality was great and the menu had a ton of great options on it. They do have a small parking lot attached otherwise it will be street parking. Our waiter was also very polite and it was very lively during our 7 PM dinner visit. The portion sizes are very large here so factor that in to your choices.
I would classify this more as a French bistro in that it is casual and has a lot of great French comfort food options. We started off with a Country Pâté and thought it was great. It was very smooth and the bread with it really added to the flavor combination. Next, we shared the Beet Salad, which was gigantic, but had some really nice flavors. It was full of beets and feta so I wasn’t complaining, but it could be split between four people it’s that large. Finally for my entree I chose the Pan Seared Sole and thought it was fantastic. The butter sauce on top was extremely sweet but in a good way. I also liked the black rice on the side to soak up the sauce and I ate every bit of it. We wanted to order dessert but by the end of the meal we were both pretty full. I would recommend to anyone in the area or to anyone searching for a great French dinner option.
Ambiance, food, service was all perfect!
I am from France and this place is by far the best French restaurant I have experiences in LA for the past 10 years. Highly recommend!!!
