This place is nostalgic for me. I've been eating here since the 80s. The food is always perfect. Here are my favorites: Chicken Fried Steak, biscuits and gravy, turkey and avocado sandwich, Joe's Special. Honestly have not had anything that was not delicious. The staff is great some of which have been working there for over 30 years. The prices are pretty reasonable too. The coffee is always just right and they will even give you a to-go cup.

Ordered 2 of the steak and eggs plates, it was DISGUSTING, the steak looked old and was very TOUGH, even the correct done-iness was cooked too MUCH through, I wanted it pink inside, it came out OVER done like well-done. And paying $21/plate for a piece of steak that's 1/8inch thick is way way OVERPRICED.
Also ordered The regular pancakes and chocolate chip pancakes, NO FLAVOR, just bland awfull, it didn't look like yummy pancakes as before, the edges of the pancake was pockets of circles, batter was off today who knows🤷
