Typically, we love the food and love to order the guacamole, where they bring the cart to the table and let us choose the ingredients. This time, the server made the guacamole table side, but only asked us if we wanted it spicy or mild. We didn't get to pick the ingredients. The guacamole was terrible and tasted like it had WAY too much black pepper- I didn't know that was even a typical ingredient. It was really disappointing The rest of the food was decent, but the beans were a bit spicy the ambiance was nice, especially if you get to sit next to the window and see the ocean

This is the Best El Torito ( Redondo Pier) in the South Bay! The Mgr is always so friendly, welcoming , polite , just lovely! staff is also great, hardworking , courteous, and food is always delicious not to mention this location has the Best ocean view!!

I had a reservation but had to wait . Ok Then we waited 35 min to get a burger and carne asada .. ok When asking after 25 min why it was so long answer was « we are working on it « . There was almost nobody in the restaurant . And nobody was served . Result : reservation at 6pm , wa ate at 7 for juste 2 simple plates . Food is like junk . I don't know where comes the steack in burger but it tastes more like sausage meat . The carne asada had no taste and purée is disgusting , the worst we ate and we love Mexican and eat Mexican very often .. Except the view and the noise , I just don't understand what people like there and will never come back .

The outside view as you are seated is absolutely awesome. We had a great view of the Redondo Beach Ocean and beach front. The waiters were very pleasant and timely. And the food was great as well. The atmosphere was great as well because the restaurant was very well maintained, with what appears to be with a sense of great pride.

what a fun place to enjoy dinner! We met our adult kids here for a celebration and it was so wonderful. The service was great, the food was also great! I had the chicken enchiladas!! Thank you for a great experience - very lively!

The Thanksgiving buffet was excellent! Lots of both traditional and Mexican choices. Not too crowded either.
Really enjoyed the Thanksgiving Day Buffet. Traditional Thanksgiving fare offered plus Mexican favorites. Great dessert layout including pumpkin pie, jello, flan and fresh fruit. Seated promptly upon arrival per our reservation. Thank you for a very enjoyable holiday experience!

Me & my friend girls went out to eat for our birthday 🎂 10/27 10/31 & today 11/10/25 the food was pure nasty we didn't even eat all of it we all had different dinner my food was cold & nasty I had the to remake it same thing we'll never at here again they either need a chefs 👩🍳 I truly wouldn't give a rating like this & the manager really didn't want to have my food remade he seen all that food left he should have gave us a big discount my rating for this restaurant is a 1 1/2 star on food it's sad to spend all that money & get unpleasant dish to eat 00000000000000000%

Over all experience was just ok. From the beginning the sitting arrangements were bad. Honestly the way the middle tables are set up is very bad. If your walking you bumped into people that are sitting down and if you're sitting down people bump on you. Being that you have to keep getting up since is a buffet is really annoying. Our server was quite rude. We had to keep asking for stuff and he seemed annoyed when doing so. Being a large party he got tipped very well as gratuity was already charged. Food was running low and slog of times empty and they took a long time to refill. Floors were dirty and sticky. It was a big bill for the food ambience and service.

The final Game of the World Series was on TV, and, I believe almost everyone stayed home to watch. The restaurant was relatively empty for a Saturday night, they gave us our favorite table in the corner by the windows. Food and service were great, and from our table we could see the TVs in the Bar and follow the game. Unfortunately, it was a cloudy evening and we could not enjoy the sunset, can't blame the restaurant for that, besides, we had a game to watch instead.
