I came here for the first time to use the gift card that my son got from a friend. I knew this place had a great review since people were talking about the place. Came here around 6pm and the line was long. Amazed by the size of their one scoop in a cup!!! It's probably triple size bigger than the Baskin Robbin's single scoop cup. I totally forgot to take the ice cream photos because it was so yummy. Definitely a place to check it out if you're the ice cream person!

Cheesecake Oreo is definitely my favorite, with good chunks of Oreo and a subtle cheesecakey goodness. Graham Central Station is reliable for a good time with delicious crunchies. Blueberry cobbler is fabulous, but doesn't have the crunchies. Taro/Ube is delicious but really sweet and lacks crunchies. This is really just a note to myself so I don't forget LMAO.

Strictly take-out, there's always a line; but oh, so worth it!!! Their sugar-free options taste like their full-sugar! All flavors are super good! Anything, and everything, with chocolate, vanilla, fruit, carmal, etc. are amazing! Even their basic chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry flavors are impressive. Tuesdays, they have their special on...STOP READING THIS and go get some ice cream!

Always been a big fan of handel's from the first time I visited their Villanova location. It was a frigid winter night just outside of Philadelphia and there was a line wrapping around the building. The staff there committed to getting everyone served before they closed which meant staying open over 30 mins past closing. Well worth the wait. Handel's and Brewster's are my favorite ice cream places, and I DO love ice cream! Whatever one I'm closest to when the urge hits me is where I go.It is a walk-up, and there are ample places to sit and enjoy your treats outside.Handel's has a very wide selection of flavors to choose from, and at times, that may be difficult to do. Because my wife is lactose intolerant, I wish they would have a few more choices for those like her. Not just the standard mango. That's what she likes about Brewsters because they have more selections made with oat milk.The pricing and portion size at Handel's is fair, and I would recommend them to anyone that is an ice cream lover like myself!
The best f-Ing ice cream around this side of town. You just can't go wrong here. Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Worth waiting in line every time!

Located in a small shopping plaza. Lines are always long but go very quick. Staff is friendly. Have a long list of ice cream flavors and varieties to choose from. Got the ice cream sundae. With butter pecan ice cream and hot fudge. Absolutely delicious. The ice cream has whole pecans in it and the hot fudge is a good combo of hot and cold. Highly recommend.

If my kids had their way, we would be at handel's more than once a week. But maybe once a month is more my style. I like that they have so many different flavors and toppings.
Freshest ice cream and great service! Banana cream pie, black berry, and coffee are phenomenal flavors! Big servings for generous pricing.

Went last weekend with my teenage kids. Ordered three comes. The young lady came back to the window three times to ask what our order was. Handed me the first come and it had 1.5 scoops for $6.00. I asked for another scoop as it's supposed to be 2.5 scoops. The young lady said to me " I'll work on my scoops next time". Been going to Handles weekly since it opened. I will never be back. Over priced ice cream, employees with bad attitudes and a come made for a 8 year old. All for 6.00 each. No thanks.
