The waiters were polite and service was extremely fast. The fish quality was average. I was not a fan of the albacore, too mushy. The worst thing was that the rice was also too mushy. I'd give them another chance though.

This is my favorite sushi spot in the Southbay. I love the hoka roll. You can't beat their happy hour deals. Ingredients are fresh and service is fast. This is my go-to spot.

Came here twice in the laat month. The price is good given the quality of fish. Everything they use is low grade and fake or imitation. Even the ginger and wasabi they give you for the table is lower grade. Again, you get what you pay for. We always do the happy hour deal where you choose a roll, the a side being nigiri, California roll or spicy tuna roll for $15. Happy hour is all day everyday so no need to go at a certain time. Beer is $6.50 on the happy hour menu. People must love this place because it pops off. The rolls are fine, nothing special. The sashimi, however, is extremely hard to bite into. My brother was gnawing at it like it was beef jerky. That's how bad the fish quality is. The food comes out quick and the restaurant is clean. Staff are on top of things. Parking is easy its a big lot and free.

Solid pricing for portions and quality! My favorite is the baked salmon roll. Service is fast and always good. Wait is never too long.

Oh my goodness! What an excellent experience I had! My first time here, and trust me, you won't be disappointed. I had the best server ever! I wasn't sure what to get, but he made ordering super-easy and quick and was oh-so personable. The sashimi and sushi were top-notch! Ahh, the sheer memory makes me salivate! ? Though a trek from me, I'm definitely going back and recommend this place to everyone who appreciates high-quality raw fish and superior client service!Kid-friendliness: All are welcome. Just behave ?

The food was so good! Everyone in my group enjoyed all the rolls and appetizers we got. Everything was incredibly quick and we were never left waiting. Our server Chris was amazing and very attentive to our needs! He made our experience!

My wife and I tried out Hoka Hoka and it was great! I'm not too adventurous and opted for the California Roll. The sushi was really great. The rice was excellent, the rice to sushi ratio was perfect, and the ingredients tasted delicious. Really solid sushi for a great price. The place is pretty busy, so it must be good. Although I am not adventurous, everyone had various types of Sushi and seemed to be enjoying it. I would recommend.

Great fresh rolls, cool casual environment that is friendly enough but also culinarily adequate for my 10 YO who knows fresh fish. I will say less common fishes there can sometimes not be as fresh. However, I've had so many great meals here it's not enough to knock them for it.

The best sushi in Redondo beach hands down. Best service. Every time I go, I get the greatest food and service. They have the greatest happy hour deals.
The server was rude… keep on talking to someone he knows! The tempura calamari was dark brown over fried, when we bring to his attention, he said that’s how it’s is! sushi rice was hard partially uncooked!

The food is ok. The prices are great, But you get what you pay for. I'll only eat this if I'm in a hurry and don't want to wait for a table somewhere else. If you order Takeout be prepared to wait longer than your estimated wait time. I've been there twice now where my takeout order was 30 minutes delayed.
