Good food. Good, attentive service.
First time here. The House fried rice and the Orange chicken was our favorite and might be the best we ever had. The Wonton soup and the chow main were ok but nothing special. We will be coming back

Great vegan options. Loved the House Tofu, Sauteed String Beans, and Hot and Sour Soup without Egg.

The fish dumpling here was incredible. Worth the 5 star on its own. Cucumber salad was good too, mainly because of the toasted sesame oil. The service was slow for a place that was slow but considering I was probably the very first customer for a new worker that is very understandable and I am sure that will improve with experience. The food is enough to make this a 5 anyway.

Delicious dumplings.
Food was authentic, delicious, and served quickly. Very kind service.
Excellent food. The flavors of their dishes comes through. We had the house fried rice and house noodles. Sweet and sour pork was delicious, and the won ton soup was a nice measured counter flavor.

Very welcoming place 😊
Since I saw their advertising I decided to try their food for first time.I ordered their house noodle and asked since they charge close to $20 for one portion if it is enough for two and found out hardly is enough for one and the quality is not that good at all specially for their price they put couple of small shrimps and little beef and some chicken. I did mention to them about this and they gave some excuses.I will never go back to even try their other dishes.
Best Chinese in the South Bay
This is an amazing family run dumpling place with very fresh and unique Chinese dishes. Some of our favorites are the house special noodles, the pork and napa dumplings, the wontons soups are incredible. Their honey walnut shrimp, kung pao chicken, and healthy veggie stir fry dishes are all very well done, and great flavors. They are in a small strip mall at Prospect and PCH and there is generally plenty of free parking in the lot. The service is always friendly and the family that runs the business could not be nicer. Go support this local gem.. I feel it is the best Chinese food and dumplings you will find the area.
I just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you to Jiayuan Dumpling House for not only serving amazing food but also for the kindness and care they showed. I called in looking for something comforting for someone who was feeling under the weather, and the lovely lady on the phone recommended the **chicken wonton soup**—and wow, what a perfect choice.
The broth was rich, flavorful, and incredibly soothing. The wontons were delicate yet hearty, filled with tender chicken that melted in your mouth. It was exactly the kind of nourishing, feel-good meal we needed. You could taste the care in every bite.
It wasn’t just the food that stood out, though—the personal touch and genuine warmth I experienced on that call meant so much. That kind of service is rare these days, and it made a real difference.
We’ll absolutely be back soon—not just for the soup, but to explore more of the menu (and definitely those dumplings next!). Thank you again for everything!
