it's worth seeking out Kurisaki, probably the best sushi we've had in LA, at least since the 90s when we used to go out to San Bernadino. There's a lot of choice here, delicacies you won't find on menus you might put some blind faith on... The service is super friendly. Next time in LA we will be back.

Our absolute favorite sushi restaurant in South Bay by far! It's not cheap... We only go on special occasions or on our date nights. We always get their sushi omakase. Every course is SUPERB and most if not all of their fish comes from Japan. Service is always excellent, each course is timed perfectly and the fish just melts in our mouth! There's parking in the back but space is limited. Street parking always works too~ The only negative is that we miss sitting at the bar... They got rid of the bar seating during Covid and never brought it back.. LAst time we visited, they said they weren't bringing it back..

Dinner (& Show)Do not let the minimalist traditional interior dissuade you from an amazing experience you'll have here. The sushi was SUPERB... quality and technique left me speechless.Staff was polite.And now for the show... there was a bit of an emergency at the table next to my party. A kid started choking, and his mother jumped into action. Fortunately, the server was attentive.
Best Sushi in a 10 mile radius. Family owned and operated. Came here to celebrate the close of an escrow and I'll be back at every closing.

Ive thought long and hard as to whether or not I would comment about this place. Should I keep this un-cut gem to myself or share the wealth, put in a good word for this amazing chef, staff and restaurant, but possibly risk the heathens taking over and asking for a "Philly-Roll". Im slightly annoyed there's a California roll on here, but it's light years better than any other place. If you consider yourself a foodie/sushi-snob, you must go here. Book ahead as they are small and always packed with regulars like moi. Get the Uni, Salmon egg, Red Snapper and Saba. But please, afterwards, please keep it to yourself. BeachLife is starting to ruin this town, let's keep this untouched.Sssshhhh. Keep it on the down-low. And tip well.Mahalos,Salty, sushi snob
