After having been here now many many times, I can confidently say it s the best bakery I ve been to in LA. Much better than republic, or nearby sweat wheat, or anything i ve randomly tried that was not worth remembering. 2nd of 3rd best croissants in the US that I ve had (upper crust in Gainesville and Leo s bread in new orleans if curious). Location is great as close to the beach, in a nice walkable area. Not over commercialized, looks over quality store. It s a simple small store putting out great pastries.The stuffed croissants are very good. Passion fruit and lemon one are my favorite.Haven't tried their sandwiches yet but on paper they look good.The kouign Amman however, absolute masterpiece. The edges are so crispy without being hard to chew, yet the center so moist, filled with nutella at the perfect viscosity. Great flavor.

I come here for their simple but packed with flavor sandwiches. The sandwiches here are a hit everytime, except on occasions where the bread is a bit stale and hard to chew but when it's good, it's really good! Sandwiches are stuffed, not your typical mayo, mustard and all the bells and whistles joint but a few ingredients that pack a punch. My favorite orders are the Chipotle chicken and chicken salad. @makeMePrettie Highly recommend and approved! It's hard to find a place to eat nowadays where the food is consistent and the quality still remains after all these years. Haha, as I'm writing this review, it's making me crave their sandwiches. See you in a bit, Chipotle chicken (with pesto today).

Prices are reasonable, and the pastries are so good. I loved the buttery, flakey croissant. The almond pastry was something I had never had before, and it is so good I need to go back for another.

I was looking for a special birthday cake and Yelp brought me to Little French Bakery. Saw the hazelnut praline chocolate cake on the menu and it sounded delicious. IT IS INDEED DELICIOUS!!!! Especially if you like chocolate mousse, this cake has a generous amount of it. The crunchy base is so so sooo good. Chocolate ganache, mmMMMmmm. Whipped cream with visible specks of vanilla bean, yummy yummy. And look at it, so pretty! The price is very reasonable for what you get and delight to eat. Highly recommend. Now I want to try all of their other pastries and cakes! Thank you, Little French Bakery, for one of the best cakes I have ever eaten!

If you want amazing pastries then go here. The difficult part is just deciding which one to try. Coffee Cartel next door has great coffee too then there are tables outside to sit and enjoy it all. Wonderful, friendly service too.

Words do not describe Little French Bakery. It is BEYOND excellent. The variety of French pastries and the time put into making them FRESH, in-house is fantastic. So many choices and definitely made with love. The baguette sandwiches are VERY good ... just like you'd get at a cafe in Paris. My favorite is called the Frenchy, but many other choices, as well. My favorite spot for pastries and baguettes while in the village (Redondo). Thank you!

Hole in wall bakery in riviera village with good pastries. My almond croissant was delicious. The shop itself is super tiny with no room to eat inside. Lots of parking nearby and a block or two from the beach.

Happy I took a walk this morning because I stumbled passed Little French Bakery and ordered some breakfast for the family. Ordered: Fresh Baguette, Ham and Cheese Croissant, Egg & Bacon Sandwich, plain Croissant and a smoked salmon pastry. Yum, yum, yum! My favorite was the ham and gruyere cheese croissant. A good one is hard to come by! They also have sandwiches made with their baguette that's crunchy and soft. Everything tasted so fresh and good, definitely a Redondo Beach/South Bay gem. They have a small parking lot but of a ton of parking signs the area, especially in the back by Trader Joe's. The inside of the bakery is small and doesn't have seating but the beach is a short stroll away. Can't wait to come back to try everything else!

Lovely bakery, great people. This family run business is hands down the best! They are so welcoming and their food is delicious. My father had helped them with opening their bakery and even though my father has now passed, they show me the same kindness they always showed him. I highly recommend this bakery. All of their food is amazing and is always so fresh. You'll never be disappointed with their quality of food and service. I wish I could give more stars

WOW ... 1st time I've thought that food can be beautiful. We've been to France several times ... both in cities and in the country. Here, may be the best pastry I've ever had ... it's no wonder that most of the baked goods are gone by noon. They open @ 7 am and it's probably worth being there then ... I'm thinkin' bout doin' it ... they serve coffee too ... but... gonna wait until it warms up a bit ... their flaky crust filled with custard and fruit on top is really to "die for. I believe I could eat this entire pastry even tho its made for 6 people.
