Food and service both excellent. Menu is varied, offering options that will appeal even to diners unfamiliar with Vietnamese food. Our serving staff was helpful and pleasant throughout the evening.

The restaurant had changed their menu for happy hour; not too happy about that. We didn't care for what was offered. The music, while "energetic" was too loud; difficult to have a conversation. Service was good.

We had a nice dinner there. Ambiance was great and service outstanding. Drinks were quite tasty too. We definitely will go back

I like the flavor fusion here and guests always enjoy but I am limiting visits because they stopped a good gluten free chicken dish and now essentially all chicken and beef dishes are marinated including soy sause. Only chicken curry claims to be gluten free as is the great papaya salad. I wonder how many guests would notice tamari substituted for soy and all their dishes would be available for all. If you have no gluten restriction it's a great place.

We absolutely loved this place. I wish you could remember our servers name because she was awesome, and so friendly and attentive. Bok choy had amazing seasoning! The sea bass was crispy rich and delicious. The chicken wings are lovely with a sweet yet tangy flavor. We just loved this place!

We enjoyed a great birthday meal with friends at the Redondo Beach location. Every dish was beautifully plated and garnished with fresh herbs and delicious sauces. The pork & shrimp spring rolls, papaya salad, garlic noodles, beef short rib, and salt & pepper seafood dish were all delightful to name a few. Little Sister is a family favorite!

This is my favorite fancy restaurants around. It is bursting with flavor with every bite and there are so many dishes to try. My favorite dish is the sticky rice followed by the pho. Many dishes are shareable, so this restaurant allows guests to focus on the food and flavor together. When it first opened, the food used to be more spicy, so it is a shame that the spice level decreased, however the food doesn't taste any less good. The interior of the place is beautiful as well, with wall art and nice furniture. If you need a nice place to eat at, and tasty food to eat, try Little Sister.

I have known about Little Sister since its inception Manhattan Beach, but have never been able to make it there, having relocated to the East Coast 10 years ago. Still on my radar I decided to grab a reservation during a recent trip to LA to visit family and was thrilled to see that they were literally down the street in Redondo Beach's Riviera Village. The "Welcome" left a bit to be desired. We arrived on time and waited on the sidewalk a good 2-3 minutes before someone noticed us. At that point the staff person seemed to not be able to locate our Open Table reservation. There was no greeting "good evening, how are you, welcome". Please note: the restaurant was not slammed. Once we were seated, water was offered, but the taking of drink order delayed. Both the app (Spring rolls) and entrees (Garlic Noodles with Shrimp and the Sea Bass) arrived at the same time. I am unclear as to whether we were offered another cocktail/glass of wine. The most disappointing aspect was when we were presented with the check without being offered a dessert menu or coffee. It was clear that the staff was ready to close. (Perhaps it was 9:30pm? Closing time is listed as 10pm) As a hospitality professional with over 40 years experience in catering and fine dining, I was surprised (and yes, again, disappointed.) Had there been a large party or an appearance of short staff I may have felt differently - instead I felt like an imposition. Certainly not good takeaway.

We went there for the first time and really enjoyed the lunch. The brunch cocktail was half-price because of the weekend brunch, which was great. We ordered a mimosa. For lunch, we shared a grilled lemongrass chicken banh mi and a banh xeo. They were both very tasty, and we’ll definitely try other items on the menu next time.

This is a beautiful restaurant with great atmosphere and unique Vietnamese dishes that are delicious and a culinary adventure. From fresh and light to rich tender slow cooked beef and pork there is truly something for everyone on the menu. The papaya salad is a great starter to kick things off. You have to try one or more of the spring roles with unique ingredients and perfect sauces. The main dishes include seafood and meat choices as well as amazing banh mi varieties. The food is very big on bold flavors and combinations are familiar but they do a unique take on it. The service was both attentive and informative. Overall this is one of the nicest restaurants in the area and the food is great. The vibe inside is very nice and upscale but you still feel the beach and can come business or casual as long as you want an outstanding dining experience.. Little Sister is a can't miss in Riviera Village.

This is my favorite of the little sister locations. The ambiance is great and staff is always so friendly and nice. The food is consistently good at all the locations.

Long time customers Menu has changed slightly and the portions are noticeably smaller. Tastes were a little off, not seasoned enough, missing that IT factor in the flavor that keeps us coming back

This place was so yummy, our waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu and was able to suggest stuff based on what we were looking for!! They gave us a warm wipe to wipe our hands when we first sat down, which I’d never seen anywhere else.
