Great salad but kinda expensive
I mean first things first, their chicken is amazing. The chicken kebab plate or wrap - I can't vouch for the shawarma.
I've been coming here (and their Torrance location) for about a decade now because of the chicken. I generally love the food and don't mind the service I receive because I typically take it out.
Now, you may be wondering why I'm leaving a 1-star review. Yelp and Google both have their close time as 8:30. I called tonight (Monday May 19) at 7:55 and the phone rang for about 2 minutes before I hung up. I live nearby, so I decided to drive there. When I got to the restaurant at 8:11 (which is about when my order would have been ready if they had picked up the phone...), the cashier told me that they close at 8:15 and they are no longer taking orders. They don't have hours posted on/near the door, so I can't confirm this, but again, Yelp and Google both have their close time at 8:30.
Also, I am also confident I have picked up food between 8:15 and 8:30 in the past - I try to avoid restaurants close to close, so it happens once a blue moon. I used to work in the restaurant industry and sure it was annoying when people came in right before we close, but I would still serve them. My bad, I guess.
This may have been an isolated incident, but service is typically not great when I eat in the restaurant. After reading other reviews, I think service is a persistent problem. It pains me to do this because it is one of my favorite places to eat out, but I hope this will spark change.
The half plate chicken kebab with yellow rice, garden salad and hummus is always delicious and flavorful.
Chicken 🐔 Kabob with Double Steam Veggies. Highly Recommend getting them 👌
Stopped by for lunch. Delicious Mediterranean cuisine. 😋
No. Just do not recommend! Greek salad was yuck. Seemed like old lettuce, TONS of green pepper and hardly any tomato. Dressing was slimy and seemed like it was just Italian dressing. The feta was meager and also kinda slimy, feta should be rinsed of the salt brine. I added falafel which was dry and crumbly. Sauces on the side were not flavorful. Bleh! And pissed I paid $16 for this?!

If you want to blow and eat shawarma, then this is not the best choice. They didn't even put in vegetables
I mean, just check this wrap. I bet plate is much better, just don't get wrap. No water on the side, no sauce, no service. Asking for a tip. Doesn't worth it.

Meat is ok but sides are so much salty+ and gyro is cuted so thick. And it looks like more mexican than Mediterranean but still good

The food doesn’t taste great and it is overpriced. Just go to In-N-Out.

The chicken was cooked to perfection it lacked a but if seasoning for Mediterranean food. The humus was a bit watery and the peta bread was store bought and not warmed up. The pilaf rice was also not spectacular. Over all 3.5 with chicken being the best.

If service had been remotely friendly and the place did not look like it had just been hit by a hurricane, this restaurant could easily be a 5 star. I love Middle-Eastern food and have to say that this is some of the best I have ever had. I will definitely go back next time I am in Southern
