INCOMPLETE. I went to find Ray at Zayna Flaming Grill only to find them shut down and no longer at 2302 Artesia Blvd. I was so excited to try their food as it came way hyped from a friend. I wasn't to be deterred so I phoned around and finally got in touch with Ray (owner/chef) and he explained they shut down and moved out (new building ownership situation) but are actively looking for a new place in the South Bay. Ray was very cordial and referred me to Fanoos Grill where Navi took good care of me. See my Fanoos Grill review and stay tuned for the reopening review of Zayna's New Flaming Grill when they open. Ray, you hear that

Our first time here and won't be out last! 10 out of 10 on everything we ordered. Ray one of the owners came over and checked on us which was awesome and made us feel at home here. He also hooked it up with some amazing baklava to try and it was incredible. The 4 dips, chicken kebab and chicken tikka masala were all so amazing!

I am not really sure what is going on with this restaurant tonight. I tried ordering online several times through DoorDash and my order was cancelled. I called the restaurant and the woman on the phone told me I had to place the order online for delivery and so I tried again. The order was cancelled again. I called her again and she was very rude on the phone. So I went to their website and I placed an order there. I for a confirmation email but I have no idea if they for my order or if it's even coming. I tried to call their phone number and I get a message saying they are no longer accepting calls from my phone number. I really don't understand, we have ordered here many times.

Came here with my coworkers for lunch to try out their Mediterranean food. The restaurant offers both Mediterranean and Indian food in one location. We've tried the Indian food a couple times but the Mediterranean did not disappoint! We didn't know what to order for our group so the owner assisted us and put together a family meal for us of what he'd think would be enough food for our group. We had the 4-dip with pita bread, falafel, flaming potatoes, salad, rice, beef and chicken skewers, and baklava. I'm usually not a fan of hummus but it was surprisingly good here. The flaming potatoes were delicious! The chicken skewers were tender and moist. The portion size is huge! We definitely over ordered but next time around we'd be more familiar with the menu. The owner was very friendly. The food was delicious. Will definitely be back.

Randomly found this place, but happy I did. Just happened to be in the area and was hungry. They should really change their signage though because it looks like they just took over the previous restaurant. What I ordered was a lot of food. Healthy, especially since they ran out of rice. Luckily they just substituted with more salad. Service was outstanding. The kid behind the counter was doing everything. He sat me down and handed me the menu, took my order, delivered my drink and food, and took my payment at the counter. There's plenty of free street parking.

First time trying this place and WOW was the food amazing. I ordered a shawarma combo and chicken/shrimp kabob plate. I also ordered fries as appetizers and they were so fresh! Both plates had so much flavor and I appreciate all the side sauces that came with each place!Service was impeccable and Ray the owner was kind/friendly. He really cares about quality of the food and service. We will definitely be back soon! No more Chicken Maison for us! This is way better!

Was excited to try Zayna because of all the 5 star reviews. Food was solid. Plentiful, well seasoned, and tasty. What could be improved upon? The shawarma meats were just good. Not great. Could have been more tender and succulent. And the rice was slightly underprepared. Was hoping to get a bed of fresh, fluffy rice to compliment my shawarma. The fattoush salad was also missing some ingredients. No pita chips (were supposed to be included). Was mostly just lettuce. Not a big deal, because I didn't come here for the fattoush salad. Despite the things that weren't perfect, I still had a good meal. I love how much food Zayna stacks onto your plate. And the pita + garlic sauce absolutely hit the spot. Was a fresh, fluffy, and flavorful combo. Would still return for a hearty, healthy dinner.

Have you ever gone to a East Indian/Mediterranean cuisine restaurant that has no rice? Welcome to Zayna. :-) Actually, they were just out of it on the day we came here but that is kinda funny/strange. They did give us some extra salad, however. I guess that's a good thing. Didn't need the carbs anyway. This is a fun new restaurant on Artesia. The staff here is very nice and efficient. They have a large open dining area with wooden tables if you want to dine in. Of course, they do have to-go. The food here is good! It is well prepared and well presented. Nice addition to the North Redondo restaurant community.

Don't let the exterior fool you. It doesn't mention Zayna anywhere but their ghost kitchen is within. Food and service are great! Portion is generous and of course you pay a little more too along w the inflation. We ordered the flaming shrimp plate (so good that I forgot to take pix) the sharwarma plate, two side dishes, one skewer of chicken kebab, two beer = $90 before tip. It's Mediterranean food and Indian food in one place which satisfied the needs. Will come back again!

I have been a very loyal customer for so long. Just love the food and Ray was great. Ray moves from Pacific Coast Highway to Artesia Boulevard about 5+ miles away. Our location is about a quarter mile from the Pacific Coast location. He promised me, and prizes on his website, that he will continue to service his customers in South Redondo Beach. When I go to order for delivery, it states that I am more than 5 miles which is outside the delivery area. I call every number I have and text Ray. I messaged through Facebook. No response. Hey Ray, is this how you keep your promises to your customers! Seriously!!I give up. It is obvious that Ray really doesn't care or honor his promises.

WOW. The portions are HUGE! At first I was a little concerned that the prices may be high, but there's NO WAY you can finish all of that food in one sitting- it truly is two meals. Not only that, but it's choice cuts of meat and fresh veggies!I was super impressed- The location was new to the building so we were a little thrown because they haven't covered up the old business' decor, but don't let that dissuade you from walking in and making sure you're at the right place because it's definitely a meal you'll love. Service was super friendly, food was fast, and we left full and happy.
