What a great donut shop! It's conveniently located right along the side of the road, so you can just pull up into the 30-minute parking zone, walk in, grab your donuts, and be on your way, no hassle. They also have regular parking if you need it. The donuts are delicious and affordable, and the staff is always kind and welcoming.
What really makes this place stand out is that it opens at 4am! I’m sure there are others that open early too, but this is the only one I know and they've been doing it for the past 30+ years. That kind of dedication definitely deserves 5 stars :D!

Blueberry cheesecake donut was really good, and not sickeningly sweet like so many fancy donuts are! Had real fresh blueberries, cheesecake topping was good, I would get that again. Lavender donut was good, but I didn't taste much lavender? Devil's Food donut was one of the worst donuts I've had, it was somehow flavorless, with very sweet icing and a burnt-bitter undertone. That one got tossed barely eaten. Also, the store is pretty inaccessible to anyone using a walker or even just on crutches.

BEST doughnuts in Redondo area hands down. You won’t find a tastier, fluffier glazed if that’s your jam. Their choice of decorated flavored doughnuts are really well made too. Consistently great for more then six years of coming here.

It was my first time at Moon donuts and I will definitely be back again. I only put the atmosphere as 4 stars because there was no one in there at least while I was there with someone else I went with. It was sad in my opinion because it was one of the best tasting donut’s I ever had and I have had doughnuts from different places in the past. I tried one of the fancy donuts and the presentation was amazing.

They never miss here. Ask for any donuts that are fresh and yes they have fresh donuts most nights and it’s the BEST. Only place I know other than Krispy Kreme that makes fresh ones at night. Apple fritter is 10/10. Our top donut spot and we will continue to be back!!
